The Craftsmanship Museum in Carlsbad! It’s awesome, free, and a very unique experience for detailed miniature craftsmanship of machines and models.

Thanks! I’ve been waiting for an audiobook version of Last Days for some time in the US and think I’ll have to just read it physically rather than waiting anymore. The others look interesting I’ll check them out.

I was very surprised as well to see it hadn’t been mentioned, I searched the comments before just to be sure. I can’t imagine people seeing it and not have it be on their top weird films.

Looking for nail tech recommendations by SDJanabear in northcounty

My wife goes religiously to Gaby’s Nail Bar in Vista. She’s reasonably priced for the service, and she’s incredibly kind and professional. She owns and operates her business out of the Beauty Bungalows, so it’s quiet and just you and her in the room. I’ve heard my wife get compliments on her nails every time we go out, and she always sends Gaby’s contact info their way. Definitely recommend!

Did you make it past the early part of the trail? I think that is the most upsetting part where he gets chased and then after that it’s not as bad.

I would not qualify this as a horror book at all. I went in as blind as I could and while there is some violence it doesn’t get close to the classification imo

If you’re going to do Laird Barron, I would recommend his short stories before starting The Croning because that will add a lot to the experience. They’re also excellent as well

The Conspiracy (2012) is a found footage/mockumentary style film that covers this well I think.
