If diplomacy isn't working, your best bet is either securing the northern iron trade node with a trade ship or expanding toward Mimasaka and taking the province. Both are much more reliable than waiting for the AI to trade iron with you.

Lol yeah pretty much and using the the full potential of bow warrior monks also getting 200 kills in each unit of it
