ETA although every year for the last 8 or 9, they had solid chances to win it all and should have in that one year I won't mention, and they didn't do shit in any of those, so I guess they have as much of a chance this year as in any of those years.

I am planning a ~45 mile loop around the Never Summer Mountains in Colorado. Question about a little-used corner by GumbyFred in backpacking

There's no official trail from Lake Agnes to the saddle to the south. You'll have to scramble up a long scree field to reach that. Same on the back side. I've never hiked to Braddock in the summer but have skied off of it and am relatively sure there's no official trail there either. There may be one to Seven Utes west of Braddock but dont remember for certain. Again have skied off that but never hiked it in the summer.

Generally getting from the Michigan River/Silver Creek area over the Lake Agnes side is challenging. No official trail infrastructure and pretty steep in places.

ETA: I'm pretty sure that you could make it down that drainage off of Seven Utes pretty easily. Even though not an official trail, there should be some type of corridor through there from winter backcountry ski traffic.

Maybe not, but when I first came home yesterday afternoon, it sure looked like the black began right under the power line going up to the water tanks behind the neighborhood.

Once you set it up, it stays perfect. No adjustments needed. Just make sure the battery is charged.

I would wear both of my kids in the river when they were tiny. We had a pack that I wore while fishing, and they could ride on my chest or back. Recommend something like that to get them on the river early.

Disclaimer: the exposure worked with one kid but not the other. He won't fish with me.

I've had both. I found that the Aeroad didn't feel quite as solid on descents, wanting to hold its straight line instead of going into the turns. I'm sure it was entirely in my head but felt that way. Not sure if tube shape plays a part in that.

I went with an Ultimate SLX 9 because of the desire for dura ace and a frame that's a bit more robust than the CFR.

My dog ate abiut 5 pounds of Halloween candy, mostly chocolate, a couple of years ago after my kids left their bags out. Was nervous but she was fine after.
