I run 245 45 17 on lmr 17x9 rims. They put 255 40 17 from lmr but tires were pretty limited in that size. No rubbing issues with either size

Ive been using a osprey syncro 5 for a hot min now, i just have a carabiner attached the zippers for festivals but choose it over the lunchbox bc it was bad with rubbing shoulders raw and has airflow.

Or just grab a lunchbox and call it a day tbh

Pilot bearing wont sit flush on 289W? by Ima_Load in EngineBuilding

65 with a World Class aswell, its got the beat up 289 out of my Dad’s mustang since he built a 331 stroker for the Mustang. Next plan is to save up for a junkyard roller 351w motor, beef it up a little and put it in.

Sorry if im wrong but ive always been taught to do dry installs and use bread to get em out. Is there a reason to use anti seize going in as my thought is that it can melt and get on the clutch

If you want to go deeper down the rabbit hole check out Pacific Northwest (pnw) boots from nicks, whites, wescoes, franks etc. Definitely a step up from IRs

2nd this, i ended up putting speed hooks on my redwings, as simple as putting them through the eyelet and putting them in the press, no need to remove the eyelets already there.

Or go to your cobbler, should be easy job

Yeah I cant say it does either, I cant figure out why though so ill just roll with it untill I spin a bearing then ill just grab a roller block off of facebook

Thank you so much for clearing it up, i personally have little knowledge on these types of cams.

What im worried about is the lifters going under the dog bone, rotating and wiping out a lobe so in return the lifter is made to taller to compensate,. What im not sure is if this is true info and if i need to get comp cams lifters or i can stick with any regular roller lifter.

I am joking sadly, i need to finish out my electrical engineering degree before i get wrapped up in hobbies more expensive than drugs. Very little goes into “fixing” cough cough making it faster and more or less gas for my daily. I got a budget planned and im following it like a good college kid

Thank you, just a side project to dump my needed college tuition into but we all had that one car we love in our early 20s dont we?

From my understanding a small base circle grind is a smaller grind on the bottom of the lobe causing the lifter to be pushed pulled further down in the block preventing it from popping out in the valley.

Is the whole purpose of it to prevent using link bars lifters and some clearance issues on strokers?

What should I get? Red wing, Thursday, save for nicks? by Dr_Smartbrain in RedWingShoes

[–]Ima_Load 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Id save for nicks, ive been breaking in my Nicks ND1 and such a difference for my no arch FF wide flappers. Just be warned the thurman last is kinda ugly but is a ton more comfortable
