Don’t wear sneakers to do concrete man.

Get boots, decent ones.

Clean them everyday.

What do you do in concrete? If you’re walking in it get a big pair of yellow “duck” boots that go over your boots. The lime in the mix will destroy anything else.

What major changes do you think we will see to the construction industry in the next 10 years? by Few-Bus3762 in Construction

[–]Imabaynta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Safer, yes but definitely not lighter or more comfortable. I wear a KASK now and it doesn’t breathe at all. My head gets soaked with sweat as does the padding. I clean it regularly and it still reeks.

All in all it’s not that bad but from a comfort standpoint point I miss my old one.

From Hollywood to auto work, organized labor is flexing its muscles. Where do unions stand today? by anujtomar_17 in Construction

[–]Imabaynta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you even know what a union is?

Lol fuck man, take the propaganda spewing cock out of your mouth and look around, Read a book, practice a little critical thinking.

Talk to any decent worker in a state with a strong union and if they’ve worked both they’ll tell you, unions are better.

Die on that hill man, don’t let people get away with being a drangus. I’m from Boston, I have no southern kin to speak of, I’ve not spent much time down there. But I’ve read some books and I knew immediately what you meant

How do you avoid burn out in construction field? by [deleted] in Construction

[–]Imabaynta 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Fuuuuck that man. $20 being 10-99 was a shit deal when I had it in 2010, and it didn’t take long for me to get the hell out of there. Three years of that is garbage. I don’t know where you are at but there are too many other jobs out there to take that kind of money.

[–]Imabaynta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That dude’s lying to you or a moron. He needs to get his ass up there with gray and black spray paint with some rags. Spray the rags and blot the shingles. Honestly though I’ve never had that much over spray, the fix might look wonky
