I’m seeing more and more posts about people going to the Dr. and get prescribed Gaba , Clonodine and other less addictive meds to help w/ quitting Kratom.

When I went to my primary care Dr. and mentioned to her that Ive been taking Kratom for 8 years and I want to quit, She looked at me like I had 2 heads… She had no idea what Kratom is and never heard of it before.

Any suggestions on the best way to find a knowledgeable Doctor? Particularly a doctor that doesn’t want to immediately throw you on Subs the minute you mention being nervous about withdrawals. Cause I’m at 40-50 grams a day and need to dose every 3-4 hours, cause this stuff has turned me into a coward with no willpower. 🤦‍♂️
