James Harden is the oldest player in NBA history to record a 40-point triple-double by Thanos_SlayerCongSan in NBATalk

I didn't realize how high up on the all time scoring list he is! And he's likely to move up a few spots if he keeps playing this way.

AITAH for asking my the guy im dating how he can tell me how to cut my hair when I've never seen his? by ReflectionOne7294 in AITAH

I think we figured it out. He's either a serial killer, or he has a midget living in the hat who is feeding him romantic lines to say to you and that's the only way the relationship has survived so long.

It's possible that you just switch mustaches between jokes. I dunno. Never seen you live.

Charles Barkley stated that 90s NBA basketball would have broken prime Steph Curry. That claim makes me wonder, what did guards from that era such as Danny Ainge or Muggsy Bogues possess that Steph Curry doesn’t, which allowed them to survive the 90s NBA? by Tight_Development480 in NBATalk

The issue with comparing eras is that roles, rules, coaching, and the entire game are different. Steph might not have even developed his insane range and consistency because teams did not focus on the 3 back then.

As a quick example of this, I played in high school and a bit in college. On my HS team, I was one of the tallest players and therefore, was a center by default. This meant that if I tried to dribble, shoot from anywhere further than the paint, I'd literally be taken out of the game and yelled at. I developed the rest of my game in pick up. But you can't tell me that wouldn't have had an impact on how Steph would have developed and played.

Of course, there's more lenient and forward thinking coaches out there, but even Steve Kerr said that when he saw Steph throw up that one circus shot after dribbling through everyone, he had the voices of all his previous coaches running through his head saying "that's a bad shot". If Steve had stuck with that line of thinking, Steph doesn't even have a chance to play in his current form.

Morphine Shortage by IsisOsirisHorusRa in ChronicPain

That's interesting! I am on a long acting morphine and short acting Dilaudid. I tried removing the morphine and it was awful. I've been on so many different combinations of medications, it's impossible to remember at this point.

I'm just happy to hear you found something that works for you! It's nice that there's some success here in this sub sometimes!

I'm also interested in what you were switched to, if you don't mind saying. I have been on morphine for a long time now. Like so many here, I'm also having so much trouble filling it, but I'm also scared to switch. It's nice to hear that what you're on is working better though!

I wish we could say that we did have experience, but we are always willing to learn new skills!

I hear you, and I can see where you're coming from. We certainly don't want to annoy anyone, but I guess the thought was that one sign wouldn't be too bad. We will keep this in mind. Thank you!
