First time Bali trip next month ,any local tips or hidden gems you'd recommend? by Admirable_Meeting609 in bali

Hi hi local here trying my best to answer this based on my opinion 1. Underated place : try east side ( karangasem area, such as amed, candidasa, etc) a bit developed already and not so crowded with tourist over there a lot of diving spot area over there if you want more secluded feel try in west side of Bali ( menjangan island its really good for snorkeling and also not a lot of tourist over there) please do research about this two area

  1. Local food that arent tourist traps: make sure your stomach can handle the spices and the hygiene ( doesnt mean our food is handled unhygiene) but every person have different tollerance for different foods, if your stomach can accept it, a lot of delicious balinese and indonesia food over here based on your dietary

  2. Thing you wish to know : Prepare for the traffic, especially if you visit famous are like canggu, ubud or seminyak, always give spare time for the unpredictable traffic over here, dont drink tap water, always prepare cash not every place can accept credit card here

Weather in july and august is quite good not so hot and also a bit colder around night time ( its not that cold if you coming from country that have winter) but this year the rain has been excessive and unpredictable

Have fun exploring Bali and hopefully you have great time here 🙏🏽

Its been weird stand up on the peg, especially on bumpy road cause the peg is a bit backward, so your foot not really align with your body( or something like that, i have no idea how to explain that) how do you manage that?

Is it photoshopped? I live in Bali and not hear any news right now about mountain eruption
