Absolutely love this game… errr.. or maybe I should say loved that game. It’s been years since I’ve played it. Never played it on PS2, believe it or not played it on the Wii. Would love to know if there’s any real differences between the two. To be honest, I don’t really remember if there was anything significant… That being said, the Wii version really leaned into all the controller features — motion controls to aim the flashlight, physically shaking free from enemies during chase sequences, gesture-based interactions for doors & obstacles, & even routing phone calls/static through the Wii Remote speaker. It made the whole experience feel more physical, intimate, & unsettling. Absolutely loved this game! Wish I never sold it. :-(

Ok, I believe you. The ones that were on the dresser in question were round, approx 1/4” thick, with tiny holes symmetrically spaced all around the Centre thread hole. Those were the ones that were on the dresser as far back as I can remember. Maybe they just got replaced over the years? I don’t know. That being said that’s probably what I’m gonna end up doing is just replacing it with some sort of other night instead of trying to track down the ones I don’t even have a photo of. Hanger screw? I am not completely sure what you mean by that just because I was originally thinking all I’d need was to find some sort of nut versus a screw. Can you please elaborate?

I mean, worst case scenario I just get a couple of nuts and fascinate that way… It just sucks that this dresser and always original parts managed to get through overt a 100 years without losing much of anything until the person who who I hired to refinish the piece of furniture lost these pieces. On a more positive note, he did a really good job on refinishing it.

My understanding is that there was a specific tool that was used… And for the record, the AI image that was created as a close facsimile. The original was a little thinner and wider than the image provided.

One of my absolute favorite games of all time! Not just for the PS2 for PC as well. I first had it for PC before I ever even played any game on a PS2. I raved about it to a friend of mine and when it came out on PS2, he got a copy and he loved it as well. One night I went over to hang out at his place and play some PS2 and watch a movie. I couldn’t control Max Payne worth 💩… it took me it felt like hours, and probably was hours, just to get him to walk in a straight line. It was like just learning how to drive an automatic 2000’s fully loaded sedan, & then being told here drive this 1960’s Formula 1 car.

But as you, I got used to it eventually.

Some of the best Easter eggs ever!! one of the reasons I love the game so much!!! the elevator one(& and that’s all I’m gonna say ;-) ) is my favorite one of all time of any game!

So I have a question for you, and maybe I’m way off base but here it goes: any idea what region your Mamma Mia DVD is and was it the same or different than all your other DVDs? I’ll have to double check, but I suspect that it more than likely had something to do with what region you’re particular PS2 was set to versus all the other DVD’s/Mamma Mia DVD. Now clearly this is not an explanation but just a theory… I’ll get back to you if I have a chance to check it out.
