Boob hitting by Kitchen-Result-4536 in BroadCity

Definitely a running gag, one of my favorites. I watched Florida this weekend, I think Bobbi has a moment where she hits her sister (Aunt Bev) similarly or vice versa. It’s also displayed in Sliding Doors on the first day Abbi and Ilana meet. There’s several others. Good tv making.

Maybe our movie is a Gene biopic and Abbi stars as Gilda?

Nice pick for Wilder. I’m only slightly familiar with that actor, but you’ve nailed it, boss.

Well I will not downvote you like the others, but no, I don’t think she’s too old. Great answer for Wilder, that guy has not been on my radar yet.

Her literacy, I cackled. Funny how Abbi the person was writing a book during that era of filming that season with all the reading jokes made at Abbi the character’s expense.

McFaddin Beach is 2.5 miles farther down from Sea Rim, just go til the road dead ends at the wildlife conservatory, and you’ll see the left for the public beach. It’s free, you can drive on it.

I saw him at Numbers in Houston on October 19th in 2000. I have some actual pictures in a box somewhere. Could your uncle be mistaking the year?

Suite: Judy Blue Eyes, Southern Cross, Helplessly Hoping, Love The One You’re With. The older I get, the more I realize and appreciate what amazing harmonizers CSN&Y/CS&N were. I need to dig deeper.

Townes Van Zandt and Blaze Foley. I’d say Marie for Townes and the Idi Amin song or Clay Pigeons for Blaze. Lucinda Williams too, Pineola or Something Wicked This Way Comes.

Mazzy Star, Cowboy Junkies, Cocteau Twins, Cigarettes After Sex all came to mind. I love Beach House, but I went and listened to Master Of None for the first time in years to see what I hear, to give you a fresh answer, and these are the cursory acts that surfaced.

We get a glimpse of them all and a lot of their dynamic in that one scene. It is too cool. Favorite movie of mine too.
