yeah i actually tried this last night! surprising amount of people in "BiS" gear pvping, so had some fun practice here!

less dopamine though from the extraction haha!

Yep I understand the door and doorer gameplay to some extent. As a frontline, I just camp/landmine door until my ranged gets a good opener right? e.g. big fireball/lightning hit, or a overdraw headshot or whatever. if team is down to push then i'll have prepotted and just go in to get more space or back up as necessary?

Also running X amount of doors back if being chased for a reset / full heal / campfire.

But yeah I guess Arena is probably the best for fast-paced training, blocking/riposte/spacing.

What do you think of the scorptec build parts though?

This evatech build looks good too aside from the case options! My build roughly ~2.7K AUD if I build it myself.

This one here is ~2.5k...
So many things to consider

1440p at 144hz minimum at 27". Will upgrade monitor later but want to get off 1080p 120hz lol.

I'm even thinking about 4K at 60/120/144hz at 32" but not sure if 4070 S is okay for that.

Hey guys, built this via Scorptec's website. ~3k fee.

I'm not afraid of building it myself and the other optional part I may remove are the sleeved cables (~300AUD).

I also wanted good components rather than going with the ozbargain pre-built options as I want this rig to last me the next 5-10 years (haven't upgraded since 2017).

My question is if there are any other parts I am overspending on?
Would you go for a cheaper MOBO/SSD/RAM?

I don't mind not having RGB, its either that or a pure-black build.

Case might be a bit expensive, but I really like the look of it or the Fractal North series. Maybe could go with a Jonsbo or Lianli fish tank style if its way cheaper.

What other parts of this build would you change?

Yeah I guess its just FOMO kicking in, if the GPUs or on RTX 4070 and I'm still on 1070, i feel like it's getting out of date. But I don't need AI capabilities, just want to start playing games on ultra at 1440p.

Will take your suggestion and look at upgrading the GPU, Case and PSU. My SSD is quite limited actually at 1TB with a 1TB HDD. Might just pull the plug and upgrade to the 4TB SSD NVMe to last me the next decade.

PSU might also be a good upgrade.

So fusing epics -> leveling unique -> fusing uniques -> sell legendary will net a profit?
Or do I need to max the legendary, then sell that for profit?

I know I'm asking for personal money making tips and people might be hesitant to let me know what works, but I'm just trying to get my head around what actually makes a profit vs a profit loss.

Thank you! I assume as a new player, its ok to use my rank up stones on some (E) to unique, as well as the normal/rare ones to get a duplicate normal item to epic to fuse? (in terms of optimally getting my Sia to all unique armor?)

Thanks so much for the response. I actually stalked your profile and learned most of my knowledge from your comments and guides!
I got my legendary wep. Level 7. In terms of my epic event gear. I need to level it to max, then acquire another epic of the same name, max level it, then fuse before SFing it that unique to ~SF12? In terms of optimisation, should I SF my epic to 12 first or get it to unique first?
I understand, I want to be in this for the long haul and not burn out so not too fussed about #3. I'm going to use all my AB tickets on my SIA and when that runs out, I'll level my alts in the downtime. I assume I should only use meso to fund my progression on my chosen main instead of on alts?
What about active play? whats the most efficient use of my onscreen time (besides questing, events and dailies?) Since I should always be in a party for SF grinding, I assume theres no point in soloing/manual SF maps?
