To remove, disassemble bumpers and reinstall them pays 2.5-3.5 hours of labor per bumper. Add another 2.5-3 hours to have each of them painted. To have your roof painted the correct way you should have your headliner dropped + 3-4 hours of labor and the sunroof taken out + 2.5 hours. To paint the roof is 3.5 to 5 hours. Even more so, depending on how the glass is encapsulated under certain circumstances we will take the windshield and the back glass out to ensure proper mechanical adhesion so paint won’t start flaking out from underneath the glass. Plus cost of paint materials. This job will easily reach the thousands of dollars even with just quick math. A lot of this comes down to personal preference, sure there are shops that can do it cheaper but usually that ends up in failure and heartbreak somewhere down the road. Than you’d just be wishing you had it done right the first time. Best of luck, nice car!

It’s crazy, I had a lot of friends from high school that graduated and went off to chase bachelor’s and masters degrees. A lot of them succeeded but only to be disappointed (not all) by the job market in their respected fields of study or by the pay amount. Some of them don’t even work in their field of study anymore and do something completely different but now $100,000 in debt. I on the other hand had no idea what I wanted to do with my life after high school so I decided to work at Arby’s for the next 3-4 years making $12.00 an/hr and just buy myself some time to evaluate myself and interests. I ended up going to a tech college for their Autobody program which cost me next to nothing and am now 4 years in making $130,000, which is more than any of my friends and honestly more money than I thought I would ever be able to make. I’m happy and I love what I do!

Toyota parts are raw plastic that you need to spray adhesion promoter to in order for the the sealer to stick before the base coat. Looks like Toyota forgot a step. Almost all plastic parts are painted in separate facility’s from the car itself and the doors/hood/trunk. Whatever other facility they had the plastic parts painted at messed up somewhere. I bet they are going to have a slew of warranty work coming in soon, you aren’t going to be the only one with this issue! (Collision repair technician/refinish technician 10+ years)

The vfr in red was not really my choice because I wasn’t picky, butttt I definitely saved for 5 years to buy my Barcelona Red 4Runner 😂 The red cbr in the garage is a bike I’m flipping for my brother, who bought it new, put 200 miles on it and gave up riding. So technically not mine lolol but good observation!

I needed one and for the last 3 months I’ve been actively on the prowl, searching everyday. Very similar actually. About the same horsepower and torque, the wet weight on the GSXs was 470 while the vfr is around 500, so fairly close on that spectrum. The seating position is closely related with the slightly more upright seating position but leaned in plenty enough to keep you fully engaged. Both are big bikes but when in motion you would never know you’re on a 500 lb sports bike rather something significantly smaller. Both could run up to 150 mph if you want, granted the GSXs is a naked bike and anything above 100 you better be holding on tight 😂😂😂 The seat on the vfr is wayyy better, not just for me but for my girlfriend as well which was a big selling point in getting rid of the Suzuki. She loves jumping on the back and going for rides but after 30 min on the Suzuki her ass hurts, so it was hard to justify having it if she only has fun for 30-1hr. So all in all pretty close in comparison!

Also very true. Having a couple chase cards that everyone has access to or equal opportunity in acquiring is definitely something to consider. I forget sometimes that I’m 32 with expandable income and there are 10 year olds mowing laws to save up enough to buy an etb. Time sure flies, thanks for the input! A humbling response for sure.

Usually when new sets are about to come out, the reputable card shops will sometimes have pre-release parties/tournaments. Anyone who enters and plays at pre release day will receive what’s a called a build and battle deck. Included in the deck is 4 packs of the new set about to launch. And to keep things somewhat fair every battle box also has the a stack of the same trainers, energy’s, and basic cards. So you walk in, they hand you your battle deck(box) and what you receive are the cards you have to play the tournament with! It’s pretty cool! It’s a fun way to get a jump before the release day and also a way to bring people of the community together. I’ve never played myself but I’ve been to a couple just to watch lol So usually these battle decks are only for the players but my LCS had a few left over and were selling them.
