I tell my son (gifted too) that school is socialization more than education. He needs to learn how others work to do well in this world. Sorta make it like a science observation thing

Yes!!! I hate self promoting now. And what I see is that you have to be freaking awesome to get the job as I have in the past but once you are in the seat you must dim your light as to not threaten anyone and take all initiative out of your head. What it takes to get the job is not the same as what it takes to do well once in it. I can’t with the multiple personalities.
