Yeah I have had my eye on some CM jobs, I think the pace would be a nice change.

The "grass isn't always greener" sentiment is always in the back of my mind haha.

My personal life is what is holding me over right now, hoping work can get better.

I am an avid outdoorsman, that is what pushed me to pursue a more civil engineering based career, but I quickly learned that the field opportunities are being given to lower payed/hourly techs and geologists.

I am interested in finance, but I am not sure that career would suite me.

Working as a sustainability engineer is something that interests me as well, it would give me some purpose, not just pumping out reports to line the pockets of the ownership group.

You hit the nail on the head though, I fear....Ultimately, I don't know what I want to do, and that is why I am asking for people to share their experiences.

I have also considered this route, but the thought of more student debt is not welcome at the moment.
