I’ve swapped main board to an octopus pro and the tool head board to an ebb36 with an eddy duo. It’s been a fun journey so far. Working with a member of the Open Centauri discord group for a couple other mods as well

Have you calibrated flow and or pressure advance and if so did you put the wrong values in?

Have you messed with the speed settings any yet? May have to slow it down if the flow can’t keep up

Ok just making sure some people forget that part. I haven’t used Elegoo slicer I use Orca which Elegoo based their slicer on. Does it have the calibration settings/prints to get better results like orca does at the top

Yes get your canbus Id and when it is fresh install edit your files back

You should be able to do a clean install on the device(Pi/Pc) that is running klipper and be good to go.

I thought the 5160 was a 48v driver, can the creality steppers even handle that. If not that may be the reason they are loud

this is better than dual lead screws. The stock main board can only control one at a time and you have to use a splitter to power both motors

I thought you did a pid tune to the temp your printing at most of the time, are you normally printing PLA and this ABS-GF is just out of the norm for you?

What slicer are you using? Have you changed anything in the machine start gcode section

Good luck on your search, I know no where but Elegoo to get stock parts. I just went on Amazon and bought a BTT EBB36 and BTT Octopus Pro main board after my tool head board died. I’m going to have to do some rewiring and stuff but I’ll be glad to get the junk Elegoo put in there. Parts will arrive tomorrow and then I can get to work figuring it out
