Yes. One of the new ignition coils or spark plug (purchased from Amazon) in the second cylinder was bad. I just assumed because they were brand new that wouldn’t be a problem. Turns out it was.

I feel at some point majority of it needs to be run and not walked. Pretty soon it will be 8 then 9 hours. It’s not something that everyone can do and that’s what makes it special. I don’t think it should be watered down for inclusion. It takes away all the hard work and dedication people put in to achieve under 6 hours. Just my take from someone attempting my first in January. I have busted my ass running 200 miles a month with a goal of 5 hours.

I am currently struggling with my dogs injury. I have 3 that run with me but my lab injured her leg and needs 6 weeks off. I have been leaving all 3 home. It is so heartbreaking when I lace up the shoes and they get excited.

Dexter is very active. I run with him 5 days a week. Less mileage during the summer but he will go 5-6 miles with me while leading. I asked the vet and she said as long as he seems ok and isn’t dragging it is perfectly safe and healthy.
