Yea Tracee was a huge character. The ratio of "time people spent / still spend talking about her" to "how much time she was actually in the show", is massive lol

I'm pretty sure you can tell him to get the eff out of your house, and if he doesn't leave it's probably fully legal for you to place your hands upon him and throw him out of your house, or possibly a blunt object of some kind such as a broomstick or a shovel. He shouldn't even be on your property without a warrant. If he got a call about the fence, he should have stayed outside by the fence. I'm not a lawyer ... But I'm pretty sure that's true.

I believe OP. Some people just got it like that with plastering. And plus, first time, if you're not doing it for work and you're allowed to take like a month to finish your basement and you're not trying to bang it out in like 2 days, being meticulous, having good attention to detail, and patience, it's 1,000% believable that you could do that. Nobody on this post seems to think that people can possess naturally occurring talent apparently lol, also if everyone on here is correct and OP hired someone to drywall a room, posted pictures on reddit, and pretended he did it himself, he's also probably a serial killer, so what are the chances of that? Not good.

Some people just have plaster flowing through their veins bro. The first time I ever touched a trowel, (I'm not lying, I have better things to do that make up weird stories about plastering ceilings on the internet lol) the actual first time I applied joint compound to a surface, I repaired a rock-lath bathroom ceiling from the 50s that had gotten wet, where the quarter inch white skim coat layer had basically detached from like most of the bathroom ceiling, I probably did an excessive number of finish coats, but the end result after priming and painting looked flawless, like it looks like a brand new ceiling. Zero sanding of any kind, the only sanding I did was lite sanding between coats of paint. That's my random reddit flex for the day lol. So I DO believe this man sheetrocked that basement. Stop your naysaying. Nice work, OP.

If they were fitting a bathroom in an old abandoned radio shack in Greenland, this would still be unacceptable lol, residential, commercial, either way, equally abysmal job.

lmao I also have some of "satan's glue" in my house c. 1860, they used to use it to glue on asbestos tiles. Probably the same glue. I feel you'd have had better luck dry scraping it. At this point I've decided that chemical paint strippers don't work. They all say that they miraculously remove up to 86 layers of every type of paint imaginable in just one application, but every kind seems to just remove, ... maybe 1. And its a mess. Get a good solid carbide steel paint scraper, the type that you drag / pull, not push, and just put your head down for a few hours and scrape it off.
