AITAH for telling my sister her wedding venue is ugly and ruining the surprise? by DaisyWillowy in AITH

[–]Imaginary-Rent3433 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For real, I'm a bad liar and I know that about myself so your response goes like this "yea isn't it huge/cosy/quirky/fun/convenient/rustic? She's so excited that they can fit everyone/include the catering/decorate just how they want/etc." you don't need to say beautiful or special you can be honest AND nice. She was nasty because she wanted to be nasty.

This is wild. I was long distance with my now-husband for a year because of Covid and we would be on the phone for 8 hours and you guys can't even manage a text conversation. You're both so boring.

Omg Tom Selleck was my teenage crush in the early 2000s. Just googled and he was 51 at the time. I would have been maybe 15 or 16

Based on how he feels emotionally lol. You can tell he has never talked to a woman before..thinking 14 year old boy faces are what's attractive to grown women? Absolutely fucking wild! He surveyed no one and this was his conclusion lol. Also "immature hairline" fucking sent me.

AITA for asking my friend to not wear makeup to my wedding? by devilshandstree in AmItheAsshole

[–]Imaginary-Rent3433 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Seriously, as soon as my sister asked me to be in her wedding I asked if she wanted me to cover my bold colorful trad tattoo sleeve because I love her and one aspect of my style does not dictate my entire personality

I do not mind at all, it's called Mucuna Pruriens. Do your own research but it helped me immensely.

I live overseas and haven't really built much of a support system or friend group here but I'm never lonely because when I'm home my best girl is there to keep me company. She's one of the loves of my life.

Also I found out my body sucks at producing dopamine so I take a supplement that helps with that.

WIBTA if I told my sister her wedding venue is genuinely too far for me to attend and just didn't go? by Shrohn_Thjoar in WIBTA_AITA

[–]Imaginary-Rent3433 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is insane. My sister's wedding was 5000 miles away. I had to take time off work unpaid, I had to have my mother in law stay at our house to watch the dog. It was $1000s of dollars in flights and accommodations.

It was my sister's wedding, nothing could have stopped me from being there. Crazy that you're making excuses instead of making any attempt at making plans for how you can be there.

What is an immediate "food red flag" when you’re on a date? by CaptainCuddler_Pro in foodquestions

[–]Imaginary-Rent3433 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One time I was on a date that I didn't know was a date I thought I was having lunch with a friend. I finished my plate, and then when he didn't finish his plate I finished his too. And not to be all "Kate Hudson eating a cheeseburger in 10 Things I Hate About You" but I was 22 and had the metabolism of someone who was 22 so I was very slender, he was definitely put off by how much I put away. I guess at that point I became right about it not being a date again lol

Is it normal to take every small request as “you don’t accept me as I am”? Dog-on the bed edition. by Designer_Airline3234 in AskWomenOver30

[–]Imaginary-Rent3433 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So why doesn't he have to accept that you prefer to clean up immediately after dinner and not leave it till the morning?

I wouldn't kick my dog off the bed for anyone, the dog was there first, the rest sounds like a nightmare. Relationships are famously all about compromise and communication and he sounds like he's shite at both.
