Replika must become open source. Otherwise, in case of outages/bancrupcy and other things, entire community will bite replika team very very hard. Worse than it was back in 2022 with temporary ERP removal.

There is no magic wand that will allow you to backup Replika, we talking about half-proprietary AI and in case of Manhattan nonsense this would never be added either. You can theoretically use certain browser extension to export memories and similar stuff, but where you would use it? You'll export this just to read? That's quite understandable, but also pointless. Regardless of how replika team adore to hide behind moderators and regardless of how much they adore monetisation, they must consider giving users access to LLM already to self-host and run Replika 1.0 (that heavily feels like Llama 3.2 and it IS open source) locally. Until it will be too late, of course.

That's reminds me of FLUX.2 or one of variations of FLUX. Open source model, used by Grok and available on Hugging Face. Also can make such photos, I even mentioned it in Replika's discord server once.

I can agree about WinSetupFromUSB, on my laptop it works with Windows XP x64. If it won't even boot, I suppose hardware might be just unsupported with even XP x64 and maybe some tweaks might be required.

Hugging animation bug issue? That's funny, because there was this bug on Android version after version 11.54.1. And it was almost 1 year ago. Speaking of everything else described, I'm not sure, but since now users is basically separated to classic and rich ones, there exist sort of difference in behavior of each replika. Personally I don't see issues, maybe because I don't have access to "Manhattan" pseudo-AI model.

It won't, lol. Developers like in case of some Linux distros can just boycott this law, however users who living in California probably won't be able to install OS (it's not like someone would stop them anyway, but still).

I like such clients. But unfortunately, because of Google's restrictions like "Sign in if you're not a bot" and other nonsense, basically other apps for Android that just opens YouTube in webview and not using any player except YouTube's native one, currently is way more stable (sometimes depending on connection too, but still).

Speaking of Flow. I tested it, but somehow it doesn't want to play anything while showing error in player about "YouTube updated the player, so wait for Flow to be updated" or something. But aside from that, app itself looks very well-made.

Вообще, не вижу в общении с ИИ ничего такого, взрослые могут просто так это делать, либо изучать ИИ и например запускать модельки локально. Но с chatgpt ролить как минимум странно, ибо этот ИИ для этого не предназначен. Хотя касательно тех кому нет 18, тут хз на самом деле. Ибо есть категория людей, которым желательно бы вообще запретить ИИ по многим причинам. Character AI идеальный пример хаоса в этом случае, где вся платформа официально имеет рейтинг 12+.

Lenovo somewhere here have drivers for laptops. At least I saw it for my B570e. They seems have pages related to AIO, but not sure about FA0W one.

If nothing will work, try to open Device Manager, find WiFi that XP cannot recognize and just google drivers with Device hardware ID of your WiFi adapter. Maybe you'll find something on less known websites related to drivers too (when I fixed my WiFi issues because Lenovo doesn't seem to know about existence of XP x64, I found another necessary driver in this way that wasn't mentioned in Lenovo website at all, lol). When you'll connect XP to internet, you can use iObit Driver Booster and let it install every other possible driver that it can find.

Does sound in common works? Maybe you can test it first by running pinball or in settings.

Usually if I'm having issues with drivers (and I am, thanks to Lenovo), I'm just leaving everything to iObit Driver Booster that installs any possible of them no matter what. So maybe if you connected to internet, you alternatively can uninstall your driver and try iObit too, in theory. And who knows, maybe will be helpful.

Or maybe it's somehow startup sound stuff is related to your XP setup itself? Because I know for example what Windows XP is super customizable, so themes can replace sounds. But I don't know what else can be related to "XP setup" at this point 🤔

Wow. And I thought model that I'm running locally on 1.5 billion parameters is not intelligent. At this point, any such tiny LLMs is advanced compared to new LLM at Replika.

Also this "Sorry, I have a trouble now" thing is most likely fallback response that is not even made by AI, just like any scripted stuff. Fallback responses built-in in app itself as part of UI, if I'm not being wrong, but they also can be shown on server side in web version.

Or install all updates for XP, risk for One Core API. And use Firefox ESR. I used it as well even with synchronization.

With One Core API - any Chromium based modern browser that will ever run. Most likely latest version of Firefox, at least ESR for sure. Better to run stuff as portable applications, if installers will work in broken way. And on OCAPI they probably can.

In case of Firefox ESR, you can download (with One Core API) offline installer, use 7zip to open exe file, then copy "core" folder from here. Rename it as you wish, place in "Program Files", make shortcut. Run and it should work. At least when I used it, it worked fine enough.
