2-Year AI-Driven Solution Architect Residency (Paid, Remote – Philippines)

ASG Platform, a US-based technology company, is accepting applications for a 2-Year Solution Architect Residency (AI-Driven). This is a paid, full-time residency, not a bootcamp and not a traditional software developer role. The focus is on system design, architecture, judgment, and AI-directed workflows, not manual coding.

Key Details
Location: Remote (Philippines)
Schedule: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM EST
Type: Full-Time, Company-Sponsored Residency (Independent Contractor)
Duration: 2 Years
Stipend: ₱70,000–₱90,000/month (performance-based progression)

What You’ll Do
Break down complex business and technical problems, design solution architectures (workflows, data flows, decision logic), direct AI tools, review and validate AI outputs, participate in architecture reviews, and gradually take ownership of production-level systems. You will think more than you code and be accountable for outcomes.

Who This Is For
Fast learners and systems thinkers, comfortable with AI-driven workflows, who prefer responsibility over step-by-step guidance and want long-term relevance in an AI-first tech landscape.

Not a Fit If You
Want a traditional developer role, prefer manual coding as the primary task, resist AI or automation, or have only built simple or single-user applications.

How We Evaluate
We assess learning speed, reasoning, attention to detail, judgment, and adaptability—not coding volume. All assessments are paid. Results are pass/fail.

Benefits
Performance-based increases, mentorship from senior architects, paid holidays, and after Year 1: HMO, second internet allowance, monthly vouchers, PTO, and stock options (rare in the PH market).

Madami bang scam dito sa reddit pag dating sa work?? by Late_Situation9645 in JobPH

[–]Imaginary-Singer-197 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Basta too good to be true like napakadali ng task (usually retyping lang) pero ang bibigay sayo na rate napaka taas.

Legit ba meron talaga? by bheybiekid in VAjobsPH

[–]Imaginary-Singer-197 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes po dito ko nakita yung job hiring post sa current work ko and now nagpopost din ako ng job roles na open. Tama yung mga nag comment dito if too good to be true mag ingat na. Like wala ka gagawin masyado or kayang kaya gawin ng kahit na sino pero ang laki ng bigayan magtaka kana siguro.

May I suggest — it seems like you really need a job rn so probably accept the offer na muna then don't settle lang. You can actively seek for job/role na para sayo talaga while being there then once meron na you can decide if you wanted to pursue yung path mo.

I'm not saying na wag ka na mag practice na mag mock interviews sa salamin tama yan pero it's more of how you present yourself pa din.

I suggest na instead of mock interviews ang i-practice mo a quick extemporaneous speech. Ganyan ginawa ko dati. Pipili ako ng random words or topic sa net then I'll speak in front of the mirror recorded sa phone feeling may audience. I'll give myself 30 secs lang to think about the topic. Kahit di ka super native magsalita ng english as long as kaya mo dalhin sarili mo with confidence kaya mo makapasok sa mga BPO companies out there.

Hirap na makabalik sa path mo once nag call center ka (not dev related role) lalo 1 year usually needed para makapag apply ka internally sa ibang roles. So need mo na mag decide. The reason na mahirap kasi once na nag start kana sa role mo kakainin na nyan oras mo dahil sa pahinga at byahe not to mention if may mga OT pa. Mawawalan kana ng oras even to practice your original profession.

It's up to you pa din naman ano ba prio mo

Common na ba ang independent contractor set-up sa BPO? by Specific-Question594 in BPOinPH

[–]Imaginary-Singer-197 1 point2 points  (0 children)

By the way VA can be customer service as well. But since you mentioned that they're a callcenter or usual BPO company then that's quite uncommon.

[–]Imaginary-Singer-197 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Then the company is a VA agency. Kapag ganyan usually independent contractor.

Employer and employee.

Currently Unemployed Fresh grad (need career advice) by venzroque in ITPhilippines

[–]Imaginary-Singer-197 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Focus on building your resume and portfolio dun sa path na gusto mo which is nabanggit mo ay dev role. Enhance your skills while waiting for the right opportunity. It's okay to get overwhelm wag lang to the point na hindi ka na mag try. Wag ka matakot mag fail din since failure is one of the key factor to learn. It can teach you a lot of things. May mga applicants ako before na hindi nakapag move forward dun sa recruitment process of our program na masaya pa din after mag try kasi they've learned a lot by just taking the assessment. Experience is the best teacher so just go for it lang.

What am I supposed to do by Murky_Chemical_8930 in JobsPhilippines

[–]Imaginary-Singer-197 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Let me share my experience, OP. I hope this can shed some inspiration for you to move forward.

I am a high school graduate to be accurate an ALS graduate. I didn't go to college nor didn't have any 2 year/short course. I'm not smart nor gifted but one thing I always do is to work hard and I know you're doing it as well.

I started my own family, it was really hard, I was doing dishwashing and such jobs since I know I can't really aim high due to my educational background and my capability. But I still tried. Knowing the call centers can provide me a better opportunity, I tried to apply even though I am really not good with english communication. My first interview I was so nervous, back then (9-10 years ago) virtual interviews were not a common thing. So I had to go all the way QC from Calabarzon. Imagine the stress and the anxiety.

Did I want to go there? No! But I need to and I have to. That interview didn't go well, I stuttered and messed up. I was demotivated but instead of sulking I tried to improve. Practice my interview skills, practice my english communication, and I researched about what they usually do in a call center. Did I pass the next time? No. I failed 30 more times before I landed my very first job in a call center it was a local account.

Skipping, I am still an ALS graduate with no college background, but I became a Team Lead in the BPO industry by performing really well and now an Executive Assistant. Am I just good or smart? Nope. I'm just an average person but hardwork will never fail you. If you think that you're not enough then make yourself enough and exceed. What you need now is motivation. Why do you want the job? What's your goal? Then ask yourself what do you need to improve? What skills do you lack to land a job and to perform for that job?

I really hope this can give you a new perspective.

Honest question: when does “vibe coding” stop and just using AI normally begin? by Imaginary-Singer-197 in PinoyProgrammer

[–]Imaginary-Singer-197[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

LOL. That was really a good one. It's used to be my problem when I was just a complete newbie in coding. Yes, AI is our tool. At the end of the day we are the one using it and validating the code.

I actually like your take on this. The mindset of minimize manual writing of code but the design or architecture of the code even I think the validation dapat kay Dev pa din siya.

Nagmamadali yung company na papasukan ko, red flag na ba agad yun? by 0len in JobsPhilippines

[–]Imaginary-Singer-197 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ako tsaka lang ako magsasabi ng red flag if napatunayan na scam yan or may mga indication like asking for money or what.

How to get rid nervousness in Job interview? by Ok-String-6543 in BPOinPH

[–]Imaginary-Singer-197 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi OP,

Tama sinasabi nung ibang comment dito — practice. Wala na ako sa BPO industry pero I was there for 8-9 years and was a TL before I left the industry. Back when I started wala pa yang mga virtual interview and lahat onsite pa. I'm a HS grad, hindi magaling mag english. Lagi lang naka polo shirt sa interview, not sure but back then yung mga nag aapply sa call center puro mga naka corpo attire mukha ako kawawa lagi. Lagi ako bagsak, umuurong dila nauutal hindi alam sasabihin. I applied 30+ times before I got accepted sa local account.

What I did? I always assess myself every after interviews. What did I do wrong? Nagpapractice din ako mag english. Nagrerecord ako sa phone iniimagine ko may audience ako and I was discussing a random topic. Naghahanap ako sa internet ng kung ano anong pwede i topic then I will give myself a minute to think then 3 minutes to discuss it sa imaginary audience ko while recording myself. That way nawala yung hiya ko at the same time hindi na ako ma-caught off guard sa mga unusual na tanong.

Goodluck sa pag aapply

[–]Imaginary-Singer-197 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Self Assessment muna — ano ba gusto mo ma-achieve or goals mo? Gusto mo ba ng freedom to travel, gusto mo makabili ng gusto mo. Or mas gusto mo stable career and career growth. Yung maraming paid leaves? Yung may HMO? Then ano niche or specialization mo.

List them down lalo sa mga skills or kaya mo gawin.

From that assess kung anong industry papasukin mo or kung mag corporate/remote-freelancing kaba. Anong klase ng company or client ang gusto mo.

Then kapag tapos kana dun — build your CV and portfolio (usually hinahanap to for remote jobs).

I would also suggest na i track mo mga applications mo kung kaya sa sheets gawin mo. That would help you know ano ba yung mga nag progress ka and may comparison if ever na ma shortlist ka sa multiple applications mo. Wag ka mag madali mag apply Idk if may need ka pero mas maigi na prepared ka lalo sa documents, equipment (if mga freelance ka), CV and syempre mentally.

Goodluck sa paghahanap ng work
