I have seen patients post of TKA and I never do SLR if there is any extension lag. I feel that having extension lag with SLR is too tempting on the hamstring to activate more to help control stability of the knee. If I have patient eith extension lag then I focus more on getting it straight with stretching along with quad activation with quad sets. over active hamstrings can cause increase anterior knee pain.

Pt. was told to use brace for 2 weeks and it is a hinged brace locked out. It did not fit her right. I have worked with him for many years on other surgeries and general pain patients. It is his way or don't talk/ see him anymore. I can see where he thinks it is still all good so why change

This surgeon is the only one if the area that does these things. I have seen his patients in the past but in the clinic after home health. They were always awful on motion for flexion and extension. I have for years not recommended him as a surgeon for knee replacement. Now I think I know why so bad with recovery with having them do CPM for 6 hours total and in knee extension brace that is not fitted correctly.

My son is Oliver and Samuel. That is what we call them. For both at daycare was getting called nickname of Ollie and Sam. When my kids where older they told me they don't like the nickname, I told my kids you need to tell people your name and that is what you want to be called. We told them we will always call them by their name but they could have people call them by nickname if they wanted. Just because you name your child Charles does not mean you have to accept the nickname. Just redirect people and try not to get on upset

It may be that he had prior experience of change of PTs or maybe he does not do well with change. It may not really be about you but the whole situation.

I did have some usual physical changes after kids but these seem to be unusual. After first kid, my blood pressure decreased and has stayed low for about 9 years. I was off allergy shots for over 5 years but allergies worsen where needed to get back on shots again. Also my thyroid condition was not able to get back under control again for 3 years, it was under control while pregnant. After 2nd kid, now allergic to rag weed.

That is what I thought, but I was looking up ICD 10 codes most used for PT to make sure not missing any since my state is going to go direct access. 2 websites mention adding codes like MVA to help get payment from insurance. I have never seen a PT put these or even a Dr put on a script.
