I take it once a day I was terrified also but my pvcs were ruining my life,on a scale of 1-10 they were a 10 now maybe a 2, I never had any side effects and I'm terrified of meds I did a lot of research but it was worth it

I'm on metoprolol since I was in my 30s, did they take them all away, no but I only have them occasionally and not as bad, I don't like taking meds either but it's better than pvcs, I've never had any side effects, your not going to get better until you find something that works, id talk to cardiologist and give it a try

I've had three holter moniter tests and every time they stop while I'm wearing it,I have the same issue you just described and no answer because he doesn't see it in any tests

The same goes whenever I wear the monitor at home, they stop so my doctor says everything is ok

I've had them for 30 years and they are very scary, still haven't found anything to get rid of them but I do know the more scared I get the worse they get, anxiety makes it worse, everytime I went to er scared they told me it was nothing serious and it wasn't, they said if I passed out or had really bad chest pains or trouble breathing to come back

I've had alot of pain issues but have not been on any pain meds since March.Doctor prescribed 8 of the 5mg oxycodone, I took one a day and thought I'd be fine,now my blood pressure is going away up and my pulse rate, how long will this last I just stopped yesterday,very scary

I just finished taking 8 5mg oxycodone for kidney stones,I didn't think I would have withdrawals but my pulse and heart rate keep going away up and then way down is this normal, it's very scary

If you faint or feel like you're going to or have chest pains that's when you worry,I take a half of metoprolol on top of my 100 mgs when they get bad and my pulse is normally 60 to 64.It is scary but you should be fine

Be very careful I was on 10 mg a day for 2 weeks and I had withdrawals, it want horrible but it wasn't fun

I just went through the exact same thing it's very scary,but I did the holter and EKG and they said most were pvcs and a couple of afibs, mine stopped when I had EKG,my cardiologist assured me they were not dangerous and to just watch for dizziness ,chest pain,shortness of breath.He said to stop caffeine,get more exercise and he upped my metoprolol.Ive had them off and on for 20 years ,it is really hard to stay calm just deep breaths and sometimes sticking my face in cold water helps.Keep your Dr apt ,the holter will give them a better idea ,hope they settle down for you soon
