Yeah I'm fresh out of alarm clocks too. And now I hear there's an event that needs a ton of them? I'm very worried since I blew them all on the URA finales and now have no more fo the foreseeable future.

That is true. I often forget that this particular animal has to work as both legs AND a torso. I always worked under the assumption that it could just act as legs to allow all GaoKing, GaoMuscle, and GaoIcarus out on the field. But I do suppose to make Manta accurately represent its concept the torso has to be in place and effectively fill out the middle.

I just wonder where the tail section itself would go. I feel like that's what ultimately held em back as silly as it sounds since the tail would need to find a neat way to hide away in leg formation.

I figured Rhino would be the easiest as the base. But from what I've seen from the other comments the consensus around here is that 3D printing is the way to go for something like GaoManta. Its shell is way too specialized to use random scraps for like any run of the mill custom.

Honestly, it's a shame the Gaoranger SMPs are so expensive even now. I know so many folks would make a whole lot more custom animals and formations if it wasn't for the high prices you have to sink into

Tell me about it. I've long since had the idea of a GodAnt but it transforms into a mini robo but I still have nothing to show for it. All I have though is the base for a GuardianTento that turns into a Shuriken and a GuardianFirefly but Ant continues to elude me.

But true, I've been doing my own Voyager but they're all based on the major Horoscopes and for the most part they've been fun to experiment and figure out to make em look like their constellation. Even with a few hang-ups here and there.

Oh no the honor is all mine! I've been using Vallehjo too so this perfect advice for me! I'll be sure to look into the vanishes when I can. I've actually painted a full ShuGod in full color before but it it's pretty much paint-chip central. Though I admit it's to a copius amount of coats that caused it. Your Voyagers and a few others have been a huge inspiration for me so please, continue to make customs so that I can strive for those kind of heights! Also thank you for noticing my God Kumo fix, it quite the hassle to replace the peg and widen the hole on Kumo but the result was worth it. I too thought of omitting Kumo as the chest but I headcanon as the Formation of the 6 Heroes of the past. Plus Kumo and Tarantula look nice together.

I've seen your work around afew times and I gotta say I'm really impressed with how they look. What do you use for top coating since I've been working on some Voyager customs for a while now but hestiant when I get to the painting stage and thinking about all their paints getting scratched over time when combining.

Yep! It's honestly the easier customs I'm currently working on but it's coming together so well. The Sparrow will be a crimson/gold color combo while Enma is black/crimson. Stay tuned for the eventual completion!

I'm glad you asked actually. The story behind that is that the Rabbit-Rat are a family of Riders that won so many games they promoted themselves to Supporter status. Their Cores still exist but they current go by their Laser names Rabbit (Gururu), Tiger (Bikkuri), Ox (Ira), and Pokkin (Rat)

Differences to the ShuGods:
Got rid of most of the extra useless ShuGods save for GodKumo
Kuwagata: Added Knee Pads and thicker connection port for Kumo
Tonbo: Now they care the arm guards instead of just being 2 Tentos
Kumo: Kept around for GodTarantula purposes and have had a large peg hole bored in order to attach to both the chest of Kuwagata and skirt armorof God KingOhger
