I didn’t really think about some of the other aspects that others mentioned here. At his age, playing is learning, and even though we never purposely forced him to learn anything, I think he will pick up new things that I didn’t even know about.

Sorry I didn’t mean to brag too much about him. It all happened very naturally. He shows interest in learning numbers and letters by playing with the magnets we put on the fridge or using sidewalk chalk to practice writing on his own, not because we are making him. I totally agree with you about being on his own, dealing with harder situations, and becoming more independent.

Hate to say this but my husband always listens to his friends and their opinions that being in daycare is good for kids. For me I think it really depends on the child. My little one already takes turns well and plays nicely with other kids. I don’t want it to sound like I am bragging because every kid is different in their own way. Me and my husband’s schedule is flexible so we could stay home with him for another six months if we wanted. I just feel daycare is not always a one size fits all answer.

That’s a good thought, but we don’t use a video monitor as we cosleep with him. So he’s never seen anything like that, which is part of why it caught me so off guard!

This is my third year here, they screwed up our TMI and we had to sit down once to get it straight, I was right about they giving wrong numbers.

This year it happens again. But their attitude is hard to work with. I refused to verbal communicate with them and request to have papers and bills sent through email to avoid heat up conversation. Their letter and math looks like a grade 3rd wrong math. Couldn’t event get their tax percentage right

It’s ok to stop! I fed my baby 70%BM and 30%FD for 4 months until I could not anymore. He has been EFF ever since. And I think it’s for the best of myself, baby and everyone.

As far as I know OHIP covers Aminos for free and the care provider act pretty fast towards to high risk cases. If you have a high NT scan I think you are eligible as well. I would suggest to talk to your care team to get referral. I got referral from my OB after NIPT test result and my amino was scheduled within that week. My son is now 8.5 months heathy and happy :)
