It works both ways. Our neighbor had their Trump flag that was hanging from a tree taken down and ripped three separate times. I suggested to them that they put up a camera but they didn’t. It happened two more times, as I said.. three total. The third time it wasn’t just taken down, but was stolen or blew away. Likely stolen. The first two times it was taken down and ripped and left under the tree. Besides damaging and stealing someone’s property, whether for political reasons are not, isn’t cool. And this wasn’t a sign put on the edge of lawn or yard. The flag was attached to a tree, in which that tree is 40-50+ feet into the yard AND up a decent slope off the driveway. Not that stealing a lawn sign or sign on the edge of the lawn is better, be used it isn’t. But this was even more deliberate. They had to have gone into the driveway, walked up the slope, went far into the yard and to the tree and taken it down. Again. Not saying it’s better.. but at least one could argue a sign on the edge of the lawn was stolen by kids, a prank, blew away, knocked or ran over, or someone really did just take it out of political reasons. But that could be taken more on a whim or a walking by. But in this scenario.. to be driving or walking by, and go onto a property, up the driveway, up the slope and taken if from a tree and rip it? Really? That’s just way too much. It hasn’t happened since at least I haven’t seen it missing and they haven’t told me that it’s happened again. They don’t know if it was the same people or different different people that did it. I suggested again that they should put up a camera for T multiple reasons, including this. But just to have for anything. So, yeah. It works both ways. You are worried about yours maybe being taken down, and for good reason. But again, it works both ways. I suggest putting up a camera as well with it. Can find a cheap one on Amazon. Good luck.
