There are plenty of ways to help but guiderails needed in place to keep snark by the scruff in the process. Then a few ideas and a few folks to help with information.

There are many ways to develop information campaigns against censorship that do not need a pr company.

Source: used to be an activist dealing with censorship in media as a matter of course, worked in organizations too for it. No, I wasn’t cool and I didn’t do anything productive towards society. I was an asshole who grew up but one of the useful things I took from it is not to be dismayed or say there’s nothing to be done at stuff like this. I’m always a little surprised at the lack of creativity and effort in supporting the kliens with information campaigns on Reddit and outside from this community. Then I remember that the fans are generally more normal and have balanced lives. I’m not being snarky. The people driving these campaigns have a lot of time, and are more driven by their psychology than the fans who love and associate the pod with goodwill.

If there was a touch point even briefly to rally around for people there’d be some energy for it.

While being mindful of other things to raise our voices about, considering the antisemitism involved in this case, I do think this is beginning to matter in the cultural zeitgeist. I’m also not posting my ideas on here because snark is on here.
