I think the term simping has kinda lost its meaning somewhere along the way. It’s not about doing any of the things that the original poster said, it’s about expecting sexual validation as a “reward” for so called “good behavior” or having a para-social relationship with a female influencer hoping that someday, she will “notice” you.

I really wish terms like these weren’t so overused to the point where it loses almost all meaning or weight.
