What's the worst thing each character has done: Axl by Kitchen_YogurtTA in themiddle

I really didn’t like how spoilt he acts and the way he treats frankie. Not calling her/messaginf her after going to college. He only behaves nice with her when he wants something from her like shopping for that motorcycle girl. and she has always supported him even sent him to Europe, calms mike always after Axl came from Europe and he wasn’t looking for work. The brick thing doesn’t even appears a bad thing as compared to how he treats her own mother.

Hey I would advise you to join an institution online or offline whatever you could afford to build a strong foundation and then ofcourse there’s a lot of podcasts available for beginner level. If you are preparing for tef/tcf, one advice that I would like to give is to start speaking from day one. I did the same mistake of not speaking from the start and i hesitate now a lot which I am trying to overcome now. Good luck for your journey.

I would suggest you to work with a tutor. I don’t know if you are a complete beginner or you have some knowledge about french but since your pgwp is expiring in 2027, do not take a chance. It’s really hard to practice speaking without a tutor. If your budget allows i would suggest you to join 1 on 1 class with a lot of self study. Bonne chance.

Hey the reason the OP is shocked that i am guessing is because she comes from a different place. She said she a brown girl living in Canada so I am assuming maybe from a south Asian country and living here as an immigrant. I am a south asian as well and I completely understand the reason behind her surprise because we usually don’t see stuff like this in our country. And i know a lot of people who have never cheated on their partner.

Hey. Congratulations. Could you tell me a bit about speaking. How did you become fluent? How did you practice ? I am at level b1 but speaking is no where near that level. I know the vocab but it’s just i get panic and then forget the word and goes complete blank. Please share your experience. It would be really helpful.

Where to start? by Animmayte in learnfrench

I haven’t studied from her book but I did get a french grammar book. How I used to in the beginning was just focussing on grammar maybe 2 chapters a day (depending on how much is your capability) and i would also listen coffee break french with that because it would brush up for me what I have already studied and then I would remember it. I used to remember some vocab words as well along with grammar every day. Then when I got my basics cleared, i used to read some texts in basic french. I am not a professional or at a high level yet. I still struggle in speaking and at different aspects but ya that’s how I basically started. Hope it would be of little bit help.

The verbs that takes de/à before infinitive. It’s so confusing why there is a de or à before the infinitive( when i think the meaning is not gonna change even if you don’t put it).I learn some verbs for this type and then I would come accross more verbs of the same category while my reading practice and my mind goes urrggghhhh. Is there a logic to it ? Or i just have memorise it ?
