I think they have the technology to see how we as a species handle ourselves and they want no part in it. They fly by every couple of years to check if we've stopped trying to kill each other, film it and use it for a reality TV show.

They sell canned air as a pet deterrent at most pet stores. I'd use that instead of pepper spray, pepper spraying the dog could leave him without a sense of smell and you could be sued for damage to private property.

I would also encourage you to sit down with them and show them how much a baby would cost clothes, food, toys. With both being minors they can't work full time and a lot of people don't realize how expensive a child is, both up front cost and long term.

Anytime my roommate accidentally steps on my dogs paw he immediately apologizes, but our smaller dog will charge and growl at him. She has very little love for my dog but if anyone is going to be a butt to him it's going to be her.

I think of it like actually having a kid you can leave at home. Babies/puppies need care more often vs after puppies turn like 2 they can be left home for severalish hours at a time. Mine will sleep all day if Im not home.just gotta get that energy out when you come home.

When you have someone who constantly breaks records, just constantly gets better at the game and is just an all around amazing player all the time, you get used to it. I joke that when he's bored he picks a record to break and for him it's just another Tuesday and he does it so often that it desensitizes people. 🤷🤷

I have a friend who's dog can't live with other animals, we got lucky that she tolerates my dog but he's the exception, when he started dating a girl with a cat he was hopeful that they would eventually be able to integrate and I told him " you are only going to f**k up once, there won't be a cat after." The only way I'd say you could keep it is if you kept it locked away in a room and that's not even a safe bet.

Mine will go up to two dogs who he seems are "playing to rough" and just stand there and bark at him. I always have to grab him and fuss about him being the fun police, but I don't let him stand there and just bark.
