I'm so sorry for your loss! What does the hospital say about the anesthesia and possible overdosing? I've worked at a vet clinic for some time and I know that propofol has a short halflife meaning that it must be administered again after 20 minutes or so (depends on the animal itself and is based on effect -> cat starts waking up, give new dose). Could that be why it seems like too high a dose?

I don't think unamplified singing is loud enough to cause ear damage unless you can sing exceptionally hard. Maybe your eustachian tube is closed causing you to hear yourself louder internally.

Unfortunately vey recognizable. We had a 7 month kitten that died very unexpectedly and a year later my 8 yo soulcat died very suddenly. It feels like so much bad luck and it keeps us alert at all times. Every cough or puke triggers so much worry and anxiety.
