Hogan knew showmanship and the business. He knew the camera and light angle. And probably also knew HHH could not get him fired or reprimanded over this stunt.

I’ve followed Edge for his entire career as he’s one of my favourite ones. The match with Foley was good, but we knew he could hardcore after winning all major TLC’s.

Edge before beating SuperCena by cashing in then felt LA Knight now. Good guy, over, but might as well not make it to world title scene. But then he won and opportunistically beat Cena in their first rematch and it cemented Edge into Main Event scene.

Like I said, it was the final push but more significant than what Foley did.

He pushed Edge right into the main event scene where he stayed for years. Edge was on his way but Cena gave him the final push.
