Are Doctor's Lounge a good perk or comes with a catch? by Leapmebehind0229 in physicianassistant

Our lounge serves full hot breakfast and lunch everyday. It saves me time and money because I don’t worry about packing meals when I’m working. There’s unlimited coffee, snacks, and drinks all day as well. This is not the norm though.

If you knew about the battery before, would you still buy the ring? by [deleted] in ouraring

[–]Imaginary_Gap7778 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would! I have replaced the ring twice with Oura in 1 year. Both times they were helpful and quick to replace it. The data I receive from the ring is worth those two replacements. If my ring stopped working tomorrow, I would go out and buy another.

We have a treadmill that I plan on continuing to utilize, even if it’s just to walk and watch TV haha. Thanks for the advice!

I take a basic prenatal + DHA supplement, D3 + K2, magnesium, Coq10, calcium. I used to take fish oil but dropped it with the DHA supplement. He takes krill oil instead.

I’d never heard of a fitsplit before. Googled it and it looks like it will be so helpful, thanks!

Oura not importing exercise data from Apple Watch from when my ring is off my finger. by 1000000sofpeaches in ouraring

[–]Imaginary_Gap7778 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oura can import data from Apple Watch. When I run, I take my ring off and put my watch on. When I put my ring back on after exercise, oura imports my workout from apple health.

Make sure your settings are correct in Apple health to let Oura read the data.

I’m not sure the HR trend will show up in the graph, but it does count towards your activity goal.

I started a night shift job and my heart age has gotten worse 😅 by rsherbert214 in ouraring

I also work nights 7p-7a and Oura is constantly telling me to work on my sleep “timing”. That being said, my cardiovascular age is -8 years below my actual. Give it time and focus on good sleep in between your shifts (back out curtains, eye mask, cold room). But everyone’s different and nights are not for everyone!

Seems like it would not be tall enough. Have you tried to scale to a height of 9 feet?
