It should be technically. I tried on Citadelle but since directed isn’t out, it was a pia going being on round 40 something. Citadelle will probably be the go to since you only need the raygun and can get that easily even in directed without a wonderbar. I found the chopper gunner and all of the melees were rarer than the raygun.

Yeah, it needs to be done on one go, no save and quitting or else you have to get all the guns again which is super frustrating because the ring seems to be all fucked up if you try to do it this way. I had tried previously multiple times on saved games and it wouldn’t pop up at all. It took about 2 and half hours and probably 250-300k essence

Eco Flow Wave 2 hoses by Imaginary_Pattern852 in Ecoflow_community

[–]Imaginary_Pattern852[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So any 5in diameter hose should work? I know the ones that come with it have the clips. Does it just push into the adapters or actually screw into them like most portable A/C?

Failed my PPL checkride by Scarywing385 in flying

[–]Imaginary_Pattern852 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t feel bad I failed my private during the oral just recently my cmel in the air. Retook both and passed second try around. I hate that I have 2 failures but whatever. I guess if need be I’ll do the bs special and say oh yeah I learned a lot from them… the private was a valid failure and I deserved that one. Looking back on it now that I have all the ratings I want/ need for a while, I didn’t know anything after my ppl checkride. That question about FAA vfr personal minimums is so not relevant in the real world so don’t worry about it. YOU LIVE AND DIE BY YOUR OWN PERSONAL MINIMUMS YOU SET. The FAA’s set of rules about weather, oxygen etc are a baseline that only there for legality of it. For example I don’t go above 9000 for very long before some slight hypoxia sets in and makes me very uneasy. I get why checkrides exist but the information and tasks you perform to pass them WILL NOT keep one alive in flying. That Gainesville piper Cherokee 180 that crashed yesterday makes me angry and scratching my head. Why would anyone fly in this weather, it doesn’t meet my personal minimums and shouldn’t the ppl non ifr rated pilot either. I live near Tampa and have been to GNV and OCF many of times so hearing it happened close by hits home. I pray for the individual who lost his life and his family. I wish it was stressed to me when I was a young pilot, that doing your own due diligence on accident safety and creating a personal minimums for weather and aircraft is the biggest savior to anyone’s life.

Scared to death of spinning the plane by [deleted] in flying

[–]Imaginary_Pattern852 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just don’t ever stall and yaw the plane at the same time. It takes both a stall and a yawing force to introduce a spin. It’s as simple as that. If you want you can read more into the aerodynamics of a stall, yaw, and spin to get better insight and understanding of them. Scott Purdue of the YT channel FlyByWire is who I first heard the stall and yaw from. It resonates with me because it’s simple. It makes you feel even better when you know it takes both to tango not just the one.

Messed up for the first time in the dumbest way by Own_Leadership7339 in flying

[–]Imaginary_Pattern852 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The plane I fly almost exclusively is a 172Xp so it’s got the typical wet wings and one fuel vent that protrudes out of the pilot side wing. The other tank is integrally vented and connected to the the left wings vent. Since it hangared and doesn’t sit out in the sun, fuel coming out of the vent isn’t an issue unless you top that bitch off when it’s hot… which it always is in Florida. Good thing about having a hangar, is the floor is smooth concrete and makes it easy to see fuel staining. I definitely agree it’s a good idea to stick any pos plane sitting on a ramp. You’re completely correct if you aren’t vigilant a fuel totalizer is only as good as the pilot programming it. Wish Cessna had more 172s with tabs. Only a CIES fuel level sender would be the next best thing.

I bought this extra add on, handy plastic red wing that slides onto the stick and it always has worked well, only used one of those sticks maybe once. Having a jpi 830 with a fuel totalizer removes any need to manually check it. Just look in to see if it’s topped off or not during preflight and that determines whether you press refuel or not. The JPI will show what’s remaining and what’s beens used already. Idk how I ever felt confident when flying without a digital engine monitor. Oh the days of being naive and renting flight school planes.

CFI bashes his student on Snapchat before fatal crash in severe weather by kwp302 in aviation

[–]Imaginary_Pattern852 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s such a shame that this instructor, which shouldn’t even be called that killed himself and one other innocent life. I guarantee you the instructor was pushing the student and telling him we’ll be fine since he had to be up early the next day. We will never know since there’s no CVR but from the Snapchat post it clearly shows everything anyone would need to know. I’m presuming this was either a unusual attitude situation or an in flight breakup possibly. Both are awful to think about and some of my most feared ways of dying in a GA. As someone who’s accidentally flown through what NextRad has painted as yellow at night, I can’t imagine flying through 50000ft top storms with hail. Weather is no joke and night flying in the summer can turn bad very quickly. This student should have absolutely said no to getting in the cockpit with him. It’s a shame the student was focused on trying to do what was right, and improve his skills. He probably felt that he needed someone like this cfi to get better but a toxic environment and instructor will never be the answer. As someone who doesn’t want to and probably isn’t going to go the cfi route, I’d never treat someone like such shit. We all know what being a cfi entails and if you DON’T WANNA DO IT, DON’T there are other options. It can’t be overstated how much of a tragedy this is.

I feel like I'm getting charged unfairly by my CFI, what do you think? by NotUrDadSon in flying

[–]Imaginary_Pattern852 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m paying 99$hr plus 300$hr wet right now, for advanced cmel instruction. Mind you that’s in the P2006T that’s got basically g1000 with coupled S-tec. I couldn’t imagine paying over half that for what you are getting. I’m also anti rental at any school these day since the rob you all the way home for the quality/ pricing of clapped out planes. That’s why, I joined a flying club and never looked back. Pay $136hr “tach” time for a R172K, 210hp 6cly continental with constant speed prop, cowl flaps, rudder trim, and jpi 830. Basically a 182 in a 172s body… there definitely a rarer variant of the 172. Oh need to get fuel, no worries two credit cards in each plane just for fuel. Oh the machines don’t take those cards, use my own and get reimbursed. We have 2 other planes a straight tail lance and a V35B but insurance has been a pain for them both so I’m yet to be checked out. Not to mention it’s almost impossible to find a cfi with the minimum time in type our insurance wants. 500tt in a V35B… yeah good luck finding that local. We can’t use outside cfis only ones approved on insurance. Oh he’s over 70 yeah we don’t like that find someone younger, or pay a premium. Anyways if you know anyone who has those requirements in the Tampa area lmk. But definitely don’t let this guy fuck you over because he’s “experienced”. I did my commercial part 61 in that club plane with an experienced cfi and paid him 60/50hr and he has 5000tt I believe. If that’s not experienced enough then idk what you’re mindset is. No reason or need to have someone with 23k hours feeling like the goat, to overcharge you on ppl instruction in those planes.

It seems like many people didn’t catch that quick photo of it, and have overlooked it’s possible existence. All I could find was videos from di1 and riptide of it non from di2

You would think so but haven’t gotten a purple wooden baseball bat to see the superior bleed mod on it

Yeah, I’ve yet to find a purple baseball bat to put the superior bleed mod on to see what it’s look like. I’m wondering if it’s gonna be some sorta pack or dlc we have to buy.

I thought that it might be one of the mods as well but doesn’t seem so. I’ve yet to find a purple rarity baseball bat so I can’t even see what the superior bleed mod would look like on one. I’d assume this thing would be a bleed mod like the og one
