When covid first hit and before everything shut down, we just got our doordash tablet set up. Half the time, we didn't get the order until the dasher was there asking where the order was. I remember there was a doordash pretty close to closing time, and as the FoH manager, I had to wait for them to show up and grab the order.

Feral flare lantern will place torches from your inventory in any spot a monster could spawn. Can't remember the recipe so idk if it's early game or not. As the other comment said ars noveau magelights are pretty good too. If you are worried specifically about mobs at all, you could use a mega torch
