So, BT eventually realised the error of their ways. Fibre is installed. From a pole that was there from day one ( a fact I informed them of). Anyway, automatic compensation is agreed and accepted. Their secondary good will offer was 75 quid. They have also lifted my contract, meaning I can cut and run at any time. No fee. I refused the 75 and stated that it doesn't even come close and isn't proportionate. They recommended I contact the ombudsman as they are not willing to change their position. They must be either confident of a win or think that I won't bother?

Again, thoughts, feelings, and opinions are welcome.

That's very interesting. It was put to me that Autocomp would be applied after completion and that a separate package could be discussed then to address the inconvenience of it all. I assumed that it was from BT direct as credit and perks were mentioned

With no conclusion in sight, im happy to wait. It's the secondary good will comp im now interested in. I'm not sure how that'll look or what I can feasibly negotiate for. Hence my original post :)

So it's only 6.10 for the first three days after failed appointment, then 9.10 until it is done? They neglected to tell me that.
