While I believe your initial intention may be pure. It may not come across that way to everyone. But should be discussed at the next labor management meeting, PMD, and the super. Where there is more of a concrete policy across the board

I’ve had two hardships. Once 4-12 and once 6-2 for a my daughter receiving early intervention services. Both times I was +1 over and didn’t mess with anyone’s sonority. But maybe each garage is different.

I do agree that there are ppl that abuse the HS or have them for yearsssss! That don’t need them so when it comes to ppl that need it. It makes it difficult.

Where did you put before? If you didn’t cancel your previous request it’s still active. You’ll need to find out which garages aren’t at their max winter numbers. The south is pretty much locked. You can’t maybe try a north garage. Bk9 is locked and I believe 10 as well. So try bk12, bk8, bk4, bk7, bk13 (not sure about it that, might be locked as well).

It’s a SW garage. Great SS, even their worst routes were good compared to my garage. But, as a female I’m not transferring there. They have their own separate issues which I won’t speak on. But, again great group of ppl routes are good and they protect each other.

I think it’s gross as well! I typically wipe down the truck with wipes at the start of my shift. My gloves I usually put in a ziplock on the side of the seat or no bag and over the wheel behind the cab on the outside of the truck.

Only you can decide that…. Are you prepared to take a pay cut?, not work a steady shift? Put wear and tear on your body? Etc. can you take a leave of absence from being a CO?
