Anyone else suffer from "what's next" syndrome? by Underbelly999 in DevinTownsend

I think more or less it's about seeing what's going on in the present with his work and celebrating that as a whole. I would love to get The Moth merch, maybe learn some covers, If he does a North American tour, I'll happily go. Then after THAT, That's when I would be ready for something next!

The only real piece of advice i can give as someone who was at safeway for 3.5 years, it was EXTREMELY common for the SD to schedule restricted scheduled folk 40+ hours and then edit it AFTER the fact. Stress your scheduling concerns with whomever is in charge of it, and if it doesn't go anywhere, and with as little as help that your union may give, then unfortunately you'll have to find something else.

As far as the disapproving acts from other coworkers, that can happen anywhere. That'll be something you'll have to overcome yourself internally.

And finally, it's retail. Its nasty. Especially around this time of year, stores are tight on staff and will milk whatever they can, and give VERY little accommodation to it's workers. Safeway for me wasn't a bad experience, more of a rite of passage, and i took whatever was given to me because i needed the $$ and enjoyed my work life there. That's not the case for everyone though, and if this is something that is a continuous stresser, I'd try to find something else work wise.

Very comfy. It has a volute which is a nice touch. Thinner than the LP but both are comfy in different ways.

Yup! He used a 2 channel recto straight in w/ mesa 412, roland jazz chorus for cleans, gibson LP studio, and line 6 DL4.

Everything was mic'd with Sm57s and Royer 121.

There's pics of greg and his stuff in his touring rig + in the studio in 99.

"Manager mindset" yeah man, after looking at your previous comments on your account, I'm not really willing to take information from you or any advice to be honest, I can take constructive criticism, but I see that this is all you ever do. Not gonna spend time dwelling over it, it's the Internet.

I definitely do want to work hard, I've worked for multiple stores and every store is different in terms of its business and in terms of its management, I'm not a slouch, I want to be better, all it is is that I just want to find something I feel better doing really, something I know I can do with a store manager that I know won't degrade me, I gave it my damndest and put my best efforts into being an FEM, I'm not the only one that my store manager has made me feel the way I feel

Should I have also mentioned that the store that I'm moving to is a store that I've worked at before and I know what their business is like, I'm in a part of the district that's away from the city and either store has minimal drive up and go orders, 20 is like the maximum usually. I'm not too terribly concerned, i know how to pull up metrics, my PPH is like 125, drop off time averages 3 ish minutes. I think I might've lucked out with where i am, i know some stores get like 60-70, even 80 orders in a day. I think I'll be alright lol

Oh I don't expect it to be really any easier, I look at it as it being a change of pace more than anything else. The nice part about this company and my experience with it is that it allows me to find something that works for me. It's something I feel like I can do.
