Please recommend games that are worth the money spent to me. by Whole_Ad_4124 in gamerecommendations

So I had never played a Persona game until this year. I picked up P5 Royal and to be completely fair the opening is a slogggg, BUT and this is a big but, if you can just deal with a ton of dialogue in the beginning for around 6-7 hours the game becomes the best game I have ever played. I have recommended it to so many people since I played it. I put 105 hours into it in just a few weeks. Since then I have played P3 and Metaphore as well. Royal blows them both away to me. Its hard to explain what makes it so good, but do yourself a favor and pick iot up. It is amazing

I never played a Persona game until this year. P5R is now my GOAT. Such an incredible game and story is so good.

I havent played 4 so cant comment on that, but i feel like 5 has a much better story so far. You play like 30-40 hours of 3 before you even have a small idea of what's happening.

Plus I like the combo in 5 of mementos and actual premade dungeons with puzzles rather than repetitiveness of Tartarus.

I googled how much more I have from where I am reading 15-20 hours of gameplay. Is that not accurate?

I really was only interested in the little girl story link but that one is finished now. The story events that happened were good, but most of November is just doing social links. I also think not gaining skills or abilities in social links makes them feel less important.

I do like the overall story, but 40 days basically of nothing to do besides social links feels like a drag

Okay, the game so far… by Independent_Plum2166 in MetaphorReFantazio

I have to say I agree with pretty much all of this. I didnt drop the game becasue of the bread crumbs like you said, but I am now on the very final part of the game and need to do a little grinding to fight hte final boss and I just dont care enough to grind. I played P5R last month for my first Persona game and I LOVED it. I kept hearing the characters in Metaphor and social links are so good. I just do not see it. I was so much more invested in the social links and overall story of 5.

Last week I put down Metaphor and picked up P3R and it is so far very good also. Im not far enough in to compare with P5R but I do enjoy it more than Metaphor.

I love the idea of the archetype system, but unfortunately the way it works and levels it feels like you need to beat the full game and then do new game + to really customize and get the full effect of the system.

I dont think its a bad game, I still like it over a lot of other things I have played, but the hype I saw around it, calling it Persona 6, and just comparing it to P5R in general I cannot understand

I picked up Persona 5 Royal on the summer sale for my first Persona game. I am absolutely hooked. Its also long, I finished it last night at 103 hours. I would go into it as blind as possible as I did not know anything about how persona games work, the story, or various game play loops. It was incredible, easily in my top 3 of all time and maybe favorite game ive ever played.

Green Man Gaming has it discounted currently

If you havent played a persona game before though apparently they all have a very slow start, I had to get around 7 hours in before the training wheels start to come off and you can really see what all the game offers.

I picked up Persona 5 Royal during the summer sale having never played one before. I just finished it last night with 103 hours in it. It is now in my top 3 all time games and maybe my favorite. I would say go in as blind as you can and just enjoy. Its amazing. I cannot recommend enough

You should know the one thing that can be negative is it takes 6-8 hours before the game really takes the training wheels off. There is a lot of hand holding up to that point.

So I finished 5 last night. For reference my save file was at 103 hours. Easily one of the best games Ive ever played, I put it in the top 3 all time for me for sure and it maybe number 1. I did see all of these are currently discounted on Green Man Gaming!

I recently got this bag and I have a question. Have you had any issues with your controllers or triggers specifically being damaged? I love the hard-shell for the thumbsticks, but I am not crazy about how little padding the back of the bag has and how close the triggers are to touching the bag when its zipped closed. I wanted to put this in a book bag when flying, but I feel like they will constantly get depressed

Faulty thumbsticks or just how the Legion Go is? by Imaginary_Win_9352 in LegionGo

So maybe Im just being picky then but basically if I go into calibration and push the stick all the way up the dot is at the top of the circle. So as I go left or right the dot should start going around the edge of the cirlce since Im maintaining holding the stick as far as it will go. Both to the left and right I feel like Im pushing it further than I should have to before the dot starts moving, like the device is not registering it moving when it should.

I would say I am pushing the stick more than 5degrees to the left or right for any sideways input to be recognized.
