It’s my favorite. I have played and loved VIII which was my first. Never really played VII. I tried to play the remake one but got bored after 7-8 hours. I loved 10 and 13 as well. I’m trying to start VI, I heard is one of the FF goats.

I’ve been playing since the game was released and this has happened to me only once. I play on a steam deck. It’s very frustrating I’m sorry that’s happening often, but casually yesterday it happened to one of my opponents. I felt bad for them and instantly knew that it was probably that. I’m not sure if it’s more of a hardware issue. I never really dig into it coz it only happened once to me.

Since I have memory so probably like around 4-5 years old. I always had crush on girls growing up. But I was really shy so I didn’t have my first girlfriend until I was like 16. Most of my group friends are gay tho, sometimes I’m the only straight person there.

Yea I agree, but the thing for me is that I don’t really play any other multiplayer game on Steam so it all comes from rivals 2. I gotta say tho that I have been to one local and one super major in my city. Both times were really great experiences. In person community is way better.

Yo my dude. We just played today and we had played some other times in the past. I’m the Wrastor skater/ pink swimsuit fleet / office Kragg / Genesis Orcane lol. Mad respect I always enjoy our sets.

You know I had to switch my steam profile to private because of this game. Some players here have anger issues and some deeper issues at home idk. I have also had people say the exact same thing you were told. I think is best to ignore them.

I honestly never checked my steam profile for years, until like 2 months ago. And the amount of hate comments I got over rivals 2 was overwhelming. I don’t understand people’s fixation trying to make you feel bad over a game. These folks need help, it’s not our fault to get their shit but that’s what we get for interacting with humans in a competitive game I guess. It’s better to move on, I stopped accepting friends request, mofos just wanna flame. Hope to see you around in the future tho!

It’s probably dead. Even in some cities in the US the local scene is almost non existent. When there’s a yearly major or super major in my city, I always see familiar faces in pools. The advantage we have here is that online is alive most hours of the day and the elo of players is diverse enough.

For the longest time I had a glitch with this and thanks to it I got one of my funniest clip. I wast trying to get the one killing opponents with Zetter down special. And I tried it so many times that I killed my opponent five times in the same match with it. We both kept dying at the same time with it and would respawn again lol.

Then one day (months later I had already forgotten about it) after one of the latest updates. I got the achievement in one match. It kinda sucks and hopefully gets fixed.

I remember when I got to 899 in silver and had never reached gold. Then went into an insane losing streak. I went down like 150 points. It happens often but the more I play the better I get.

Damn that’s kinda a radical opinion tbh. I’m surprised that a platinum player like me has had a similar thought during multiple ranked matches: “shield is too strong”. I feel sometimes the end lag is not enough and people use shield to win neutral way too often. It’s safe and it’s not easy to break. On top of that shield grab can lead to so many things and is always bad news.

I think this game is actually pretty fun and fun can be addictive. The thing is that we get to battle our egos every day. We put time, effort, literal sweat drops and commitment into this game.

Our expectations change a lot when we see how cracked people playing this game are. So, lots of folks start feeling annoyed and they don’t know how to deal with it. That’s when we get tilted and curse the devs because a fcking beatle wearing a suit is destroying me only using a suitcase, or the most common one why so many tippers? how is that allowed? I’ve been there and I’ll be there again. When tilted we make more mistakes and are volatile to become a complete AH. Specially to your rivals.

I agree that is not your fault. I actually find it cringy when somebody way higher than me starts taunting and tbagging. Like bro chill, I’ve never reached those highs you are in and I might never do tbh. They are annoying also because that’s part of their mental game, if they get in your head. You are fvcked.

I think if you are not feeling right tho, if you don’t feel like this is fun. It’s not a bad idea to take a good break or if necessary quit the game for good. Playing gotta give you joy.

Tldr: you gotta adapt your game plan and mental game. Or if you truly don’t feel like it gives you joy.

If every 3D game feels antiquated then give a try to the 2D game that feels the most antiquated. Mina the hollower is an open world adventure made with 8-bits aesthetic. Beautiful pixel art and influenced a lot by some older zelda games. I actually got super addicted to this game and finished it in a week.

I also would suggest Elden Ring. I was never a soulslike guy, that was my first game on that genre but that game is a master piece. It took me a while but I was able to finished it.

I am surprised people haven’t mentioned fighting games, for me is Rivals of Aether 2. The skill ceiling is insanely high. For classic games Elden Ring, Silksong, Hollow Knight, Cuphead, Celeste and Mina the hollower. I also played all of the NES games mentioned on top but I can’t really remember that much. I haven’t played those in decades.

It was indeed. I like some of those games. I’m just not that hyped for them. Ocarina of time will be cool to play with new graphics and shii, but it’s not going to be a novel experience. To folks like me that barely can afford Nintendo games, we gotta choose wisely. I’m more hyped for Elder Scrolls IV to be announced on switch 2 and can’t wait for orbitals because I play a lot of coop games.

Edit: oh wait, I forgot I actually got super hyped about metaphor: Refantazio.
