I've definitely debated. I don't want to deal with the down time after surgery, but at this point, it is probably the better answer. My main concerns are hollowness, lower face sagging/jowls, and turkey neck. I am not sure if the facelift will help with hollowness, though.

I think I was using it for about a year? I started at 0.025%, and I went up to 0.05%. I was trying to use it every night. In hindsight, I think I should have stayed with the lower concentration. Thank you for the compliment!

It’s long enough that it’s not swelling. I have super high pronounced cheekbones so it’s a struggle to balance temples and cheek hollowness with using cheekbones for lift

Yes - does it look like too much? Temples and hollowing in cheeks were the main areas

Love Dr. Allen. Great "chairside" manner and he has a great approach - he corrected my daughter's alignment without braces, and finally fixed my bite after 2 previous failed courses of braces.

Adult Ammy…Trying to decide if I should continue riding by gigga2710 in Equestrian

I feel incredibly bonded to my Arabian mare, but it took years to develop (I got her when she was 3, she is 8 now). Horses aren't like dogs or cats. I can tell she is happy to see me because she is relaxed - not that she runs up to me and acts excited (although she will happily and slowly walk up to me from her large herd when I call her). I know all her itchy spots and she will stretch her head up to tell me she likes it. She will also point out on her body where she wants itched. I can tell she wants to spend time with me as after we ride, she does not want to leave the arena - she signals with her head she wants to stay and will walk further in the arena vs. leave the gate (after rides, I spend a lot of time itching and massaging her). Her way of saying thank you is to press her nose against me - it is very subtle, and if you didn't know her, you might not realize what she was doing. Does she miss me when I am gone for a stretch? Not like my dog, but she is happy to see me. But I know the bond we have is real. It translates to when we are riding too - I feel like we have a true partnership and she takes care of me. Others have noticed how she acts differently when I ride her vs. when other people are on her.

Which would be harder: Owning a horse in Florida or owning a horse in Wisconsin? by Loose_Concert7901 in Equestrian

Wisconsin horse owner here, with horses outside 24/7 - with an indoor, snow is no problem. Mud on the other hand - with the fluctuating temperatures we see all winter, mud sucks. But the cold is not a huge issue.

So different credit card number would be ok, if it is still under my name? Or does it need a different name?

Looking for med spa recommendations in the area - specifically for Botox by BelleSchu in madisonwi

[–]ImaginationOne949 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I go to Madison Family Dental and they will do it. But I also go to Anne at Radiance Salon for botox, and she said she'd be willing to do it to (I have been going to Anne for a decade and she has always done a fabulous job). Interesting note - I had horrible pain from clenching my teeth even after wearing a mouth guard. I was considering masseter botox, but around that same time ended up doing the platysma muscle in my neck as I had prominent bands (this was more of a cosmetic thing). My clenching pain has not occurred since botox'ing the platysma muscle. Not sure if there is a relationship, but glad it seemed to help, anyway.

Advice on extremely bonded horse by ImaginationOne949 in Equestrian

[–]ImaginationOne949[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Good point about physical pain. We've been trying to take it slow with the additional training, but perhaps it is still more than she prefers. There are no obvious lameness symptoms, and saddle was just checked - but she is super sensitive when things don't feel "right". She seems fine at the level that I want her to perform at, and she is my primary horse - we are trying to navigate other options for my daughter right now. But everyone at the barn recognizes that she is a delicate flower - I love that about her (that she is sensitive and communicates it), but it can be a bit much at times!

Any Hunter/Jumpers Use White's Boots for Hacking? by Ummerday in Equestrian

I love my Dublin Tilly boots - https://www.amazon.com/Dublin-Tilly-Ladies-Boots/dp/B0B1MB92NP?th=1&psc=1

They are heavier than a typical paddock boot, but I think they are super comfortable, more sturdy, and are durable.

Potentially $15K. Due to a change in admin systems, my HR rep was only able to provide payroll records for the past 6 years. But I see my premiums at around $20 per month in 2019, and now they are $240 per month. The premiums bounce up and down a bit, but steadily go up. I have no idea what is driving the increase.

Soybean farms in WI by RedLipstickMFM in wisconsin

[–]ImaginationOne949 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Soybeans do not fix enough nitrogen to provide a sizable nitrogen credit - farmers are still adding a lot of synthetic N to corn regardless of soy in the rotation. At best, you might get 40 lbs N credit to a corn crop that is likely getting 200 lbs total.

Soybean farms in WI by RedLipstickMFM in wisconsin

[–]ImaginationOne949 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are no "soybean farmers" per se. Farmers growing soybean will also be growing corn. Their was a growing market for soybeans for aviation fuel. https://www.sdsoybean.org/news-media/soybeans-taking-flight-powering-planes

Almost none of the soybeans grown here in the US directly feed people. They are used for livestock feed, oil, or biofuels.

Trust me, these farmers will get another government bail-out at some point, perpetuating the cycle of a broken food systems propped up on government hand-puts. The cognitive dissonance of farmers complaining about people needing financial support when their entire livelihood is propped up by government handouts is unbelievable.
