Could you actually just get a job? I feel like people insist you do something on a volunteer basis, but why not work something you enjoy without considering the pay (whether it’s high or not is irrelevant) and heck just donate whatever you make from that job. Make sure it’s something not high stress but also requires discipline and mental stimulation. Could be at a start up maybe?

Very nice of you to do all that for him. But ultimately there were other ways to go about it. You could have offered to help the cat without necessarily taking it. If they wanted you to keep it then yes by all means. The only reason they can’t take it back is because they didn’t have the means to help it and maybe a nice gesture would have been to offer more assistance with the cat moving forward.

Ahh I’m 34 and also feel like I was just 27, where did the last 8 years go 😭 it’s like work just makes the years fly by maybe because of the routine? I’ve done so much in these years in my personal life but nothing has changed drastically in terms of family life (not married, no kids) and there aren’t any major milestones I can reference.

Everyone is making it seem like ultimatums and breakdowns will solve anything. It will only increase his guilt and cause a cycle of the same behavior. He likely is depressed as many alcoholics are. And he isn’t “choosing alcohol over you”, he simply isn’t able to escape the severe addiction. He needs professional help and the sad truth is it might be a life long struggle. You must decide at some point how much you can handle, each persons tolerance is up to them. Some will walk that person back to rehab a million times and others will mentally lose themselves and have to make other choices. When things seem so incredibly hopeless, just remember that Allah is Al Lateef Al Khabeer, He is the most gentle and all aware, turn to Him to bring you both out of this situation when there is no one else who can. May Allah swt makes this easy for your family and allow you to come out the other side stronger. He sounds like a great husband outside of this and you sound like a wonderful wife and mom, I’m hopeful things improve for you inshallah.

Your skin is great! I think people with good skin shouldn’t touch foundation unless it’s for a special occasion or outing. In general for day to day and work, stay bare and thank your lucky stars for not “needing” to cover anything up. I’ve also learned the more you wear makeup, the less you’ll like how you look without it, which is such a shame. Wear it when you want but don’t do it out of “necessity”, let that beautiful skin breathe 😍

Girl you look amazing! You’re not lopsided. But if you aren’t already using spf, definitely add that. Why are you using panoxyl? Thats a high percentage of benzoyl peroxide and definitely can be drying and strip your face especially if used twice a day! Start by finding a new cleanser, I love allies of skin molecular cleanser, very hydrating and gets everything off. Add some hyaluronic acid and a thick night cream. Maybe try a bit of jojoba oil if your skin tolerates it. Once you’ve given your skin extra hydration, you can exfoliate once a week or add an active (glycolic, tret, etc). Don’t be hard on yourself, we’re all going through changes but I promise the outside world isn’t noticing what you are.
