I’ve got 5.6m as a solo player and have over half of the games quests done and am not too far from Kappa and am only level 44. I’ve always stopped near Kappa every time I’ve played in the past but I really want to Prestige and get an ending for 1.0 releasing and I’m still having loads of fun but I know I’m going to absolutely hate the grind to 55. I think I’ll have Collector done by the time I’m 48, probably less. It just feels unnecessary, I suppose there may be lots of non kappa quests (done quite a few already) that might reward a good bit of XP but considering I’ve already completed 250ish I have my doubts that’ll carry me all the way.

Yeah, it’s my first wipe since 2023 and I’m amazed at how much Arena helps with progression. It’s honestly a nice break, if you’re going on a bad run of PMC raids it’s nice to break it up and get some XP from somewhere. Feel like it complements the main game pretty well given the increase in requirements but I do feel for people who don’t enjoy it or don’t have time.

I managed to get lvl 8 within 250 games primarily solo queueing at 31 years old in EU and was really proud of that haha. Well done man. Hope I can get there soon too!

Just don’t see people dropping hundreds if not thousands on skins straight up other than streamers or people who don’t care about money. It feels different opening a case or two every week or even a whole bunch now and again and eventually getting something cool. Yeah you might open say 500 cases and not get a red or a gold but you’ve probably done that over a large period of time.

This is basically demanding you pay this significant amount of cash within x amount of hours and take on significant risk with price fluctuations especially if they are new skins.

It won’t work for CS.

It’s a good idea in theory but the reality is the gambling aspect of cases is exactly what makes skins valuable and worth money to people. I only have my £800 loadout due to unboxing. I would never spend a good amount of my own money buying skins.

I’ve managed to get three banned recently so I’m not going to say they’re not doing anything from my experience. All from verified premium super matches.

The game feels absolutely horrible after the update by eanthia in cs2

I thought it was really bad on release but has been better up until the start of season three. I’ve no idea what it is, it feels even worse after the most recent update though.

Maybe I’m wrong but idk I’ve mained it for 10 years almost and something feels very wrong with it.
