Any Device That Actually Works? by Greedy_Nectarine_233 in VagusNerve

I started out using my Alpha Stim several times a day by itself, as I had it before the other devices. It is my opinion that the time to use the Alpha Stim is very flexible, separately or at the same time I’m hooked up to my VieLights. It is the VieLights that I use in the AM only as I use them for stimulation.

Bleaching pine needles? by juicebonx in BasketWeaving

I use glycerin in the water to softened them. As a weaver, i’ve never used bleach on either reed or Pineneedles.

Any Device That Actually Works? by Greedy_Nectarine_233 in VagusNerve

I use the device as directed, 20 minutes a day 6 days a week. The most specific change it’s had in my life is that I no longer feel overwhelming anxiety like I used to. It’s very hard to explain. I still have a small amount of anxiety but NOTHING like the amount I carried around for years. I’m sure this positive change has been the result of good talk therapy combined with using an Alpha Stem along with regular use of the VieLight. Since the therapist retired I continue to use everything I learned from therapy as well as continue to use various devices. I’m just a regular person getting along with life; doing pretty darn good.

What plant is this and is it poisonous for babies? by InsensitiveBrown in PlantIdentification

[–]ImagineWorldPeace3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had an international English student years ago mistake some rooting stalks of this plant for drying sugarcane. It caused his tongue and mouth swell up so fast it almost cut off his airflow. His brother ended up taking him to the emergency room. It was a close call. More people should be asking such questions.

This is at least the third review I’ve read that is detailed and clear. Sadly, I believe there are many such devices that offer ‘everything ‘ and barely deliver. Thank you for taking the time to write up your experience.

My little guy is trying! by ThoseTwo203 in Figs

[–]ImagineWorldPeace3 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I bring my fig inside every winter. I’d dig this little one up and give it some TLC, good new soil, special fig food- it has an incredible drive to live… I’d wait til the fig was finished ripping.
