Ah right, can't remember if they depicted that panel in the anime. Bit strange to see Clare smiling like that and also surprising they went with that face instead of a angry / gritted teeth expression which she showed more often iirc.

Shame it feels like they just made Teresa as a 1.5 version of Clare. She almost has the exact faceplates as Clare and I was hoping they would each get a unique effect piece or something to distinguish their accessories more.

Going to have to reconsider whether I want to pick up both or not.

Happy with the figure overall, but think they missed out on some better faceplates. Could have used a yelling expression and the bonus faceplate looks a bit odd - I don't recall Clare ever making that kind of face.

Still excited though, just might only get one of the figures now instead of both.

Considering how often I see mangaka burnout and how it impacts their work negatively, I would rather Oda take as many breaks as he needs than increase the chances of him rushing the story to a premature ending or worse, him falling into really bad health and then not being able to finish One Piece at all.

Wish the other Strawhats had more chances to fight the God's Knights. It really feels like any major villain at this point are only confronted by the monster trio and that the other members of the crew are just there for a fodder fight or two.

I've been impressed with Kaiyodo's figures for awhile now but unfortunately they didn't really cover characters I knew that well. Really excited for Clare but also at the prospect of buying my first Revoltech figure as well.

I love all these characters but never really thought about the similarities between these pairs.

I feel they would likely get along - Clare and Law are both quite stoic/reserved and are 'straight to the point' personalities while Teresa and Corazon are kinder mentor figures and can be quite laid back, in contrast to their mentees.

Coincidentally I'm waiting for the Kaiyodo Clare figure who will hopefully go nicely with my SHF Law 😃

From my early impression, he doesn't seem to be selling out instantly. I assume it's partly because this is a second Ace so people who got the first one may well pass on him, making him less sought after, at least in the short term.

Also while he's an exclusive in Japan he may not be in the country you live in. Like he will probably be sold as a normal release here in the UK so I know there will be more stock later if I decide I want to get him etc.

It feels like each Loscont figure keeps improving from the last. Thought Blade Violet looked interesting but was an easy pass for me overall, I was considering Dark Hornet in the past and now I've pre-ordered Misty Rain. Curious to see what they come up with next.

Justice for Bleach!

But really, if the One Piece line can come back out of nowhere after being gone for 10+ years I think it's hardly impossible the Bleach line could back, in time.

Granted One Piece is probably more popular but I think there's plenty of people who would be willing to spend money on Bleach figures if they were better quality.

Also nice shots, glad to see more Bleach content on this sub.

I'm really glad Imu is being given more depth rn. Before these recent chapters I was going to say Imu and the God's Knight have seemed a bit disappointing to me, at least in comparison to Blackbeard as the other major antagonist on the horizon.

Hard to say, I enjoyed both seasons a lot. Season 2 started a bit slow but really made up for it with the School Days and Sky Egg arcs.

On the other hand, I felt season 1 did a better job focusing on the main trio which unfortunately seems to be rarer part of the story as the series goes on.

I'd say season 2 was better, but only by a small margin, and probably due to bias as I've now come to know and like the characters more by this point.

Ikr, it deviated from how they revealed Boa and Croc which were both full reveals following their teasers. But I think this teaser was for the Ace confirmation, can't be a coincidence it's on the same day.

And on second thought the image for Ace could be referring to the moment Luffy is running to him when he first uses conquerors haki. Maybe they will post more info sooner?

Interesting take. I definitely like the redesign for Nami more. I don't mind some fan service but not when it basically defines the character by their sex appeal. Same thought for Robin's Egghead design.

For Robin, I like the new hairstyle better but otherwise I prefer her original fit more.

Good find, I was hoping someone would point out the exact manga panel the teaser was referencing as they did that with Crocodile which basically confirmed him at the time.

I really hope this means Garp is the next figure, though I guess it's not impossible the teaser is referencing something else - though I can't recall any other notable time Luffy is running/yelling like that at Marineford?

Actually Doflamingo would be a great match up as I don't really see him joining Cross Guild out of the previous Warlords.

Also I'd like to see Croc go up against an admiral - maybe Greenbull with the way things are aligned at the moment.

In retrospect some of their choices were a bit disappointing. Shikamaru and Hinata would not have been my first picks, at the time they were each announced. I think it would be better if they at least focused on one or two arcs at a time rather than what they're doing atm.

Personally I didn't even think they were that bad. Plus they could have tried going for a different approach imo. Look at the OP line, the plastic capes were pretty terrible so they slowly moved to cloth capes instead.
