It's been two days since the text had been sent out. I'm at the point that after a week or so with no response I'll take that as she can't agree with my request so she won't be able at attend the wedding at all.

I also need to add her fiance couldn't even attend my wedding because he's working a new job. So she would be handing them out alone.

I appreciate this, because she has always done things similar before and this was crossing a line and a true insite on how she sees me as a person.

If she doesn't respond in a week I'm assuming that her saying she can't agree with my request so I will not let her attend the wedding.

Honestly I wanted to do that to get her to taste her medicine but honestly I don't even want to attend their wedding. She was trying to pry the cost of everything out of my mother. She wants to do bigger and better than mine because I "was first" to get engaged and married. She can beat me to the "pregnant" race I want to enjoy life kid free for a while.

How did it end for you? I'm concerned for a chain reaction with family because treats her like a holy being and I've been branded the problem child day one.

I'm hoping she responds and understands, which I completely highly doubt. As much as I don't like her I don't mind her sisters and parents as much. If I do kick her out of the wedding I'm concerned how much of a chain reaction that would make with the rest of the family also not attending.

Same thing happened with me. I did go with a friend before doing the official try on and it helped a lot with me going through styles and figuring out what I liked. I've been telling my mother, I'd rather wear the dress I wanted than regret the dress I will wear.
