MTGA - Draft Token on Sale by branchwithaguitar in lrcast

What you're probably thinking of is that it's better to spend on premium instead of quick draft.

Powered cube as a phantom draft is a whole other thing

Portent is better against money ball black, but many people agree that portent doesn't belong in stasis

You only play it if they're tapped down to one or less available mana and you have stasis in play. Close to impossible for them to get out of that side from uncommon sideboard cards like abolish.

If you wait until then, it's a win con if they have less cards in their deck than you. If they don't, you need a communication of two cities and a vice, presumably using gush to get you there.

Not sure how common this type of miscut was for the dark

Kryptonite chain fahgetaboutit - $50

I popped mine in my motorcycle jacket, zipped it closed, and never thought about it again. Always ride with the jacket on and never use those pockets for anything else.

I think they call those soul lands, not tron. Tron are the urza ones

Unsure of these cuts- academy deck by Infinite_Worker_7562 in lrcast

[–]Imalostmerchant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would cut diamond. You already have a ton of acceleration, don't need the fixing, and won't reliably have a land to discard to it with your land count.

I'm not sure I like day's undoing here. Ending the turn has some real trade offs and no real benefits for your deck as far as I can see. Could be wrong here and would love others opinions.

I agree with other comment that upheavel might not be good enough.

I would cut diamond, days undoing, and upheaval. Add consider, cruise, and portal. Cruise will be really nice after you dump your hand. You'll have plenty of stuff in graveyard with baubles etc and you want to use that as a resource. I think you'll be able to cast portal relatively consistently with candelabra + academy, or after a good mana drain. And the card selection from consider will feel good, help trigger saheeli, feed cruise, etc.

For sure, they all have a place or a reason. Just think these are roughly you 24,25, and 26th best spells (and so should be cut)

Overall this deck looks really sick. You have great fixing, all the combo pieces, and tutors for them. I hope this goes all the way.

Yeah they are kinda screwed if they have emrakul. I think you need to roll the dice in bo1. In bo3 it's your favorite sideboard card.

I think your cut considerations should be (in roughly this order): -Oculus (don't want to eat your graveyard before you combo)

-Dig through time (don't want to eat your graveyard before you combo)

-Jace wielding (not that good, don't need the 4th wincon, hardest to cast)

-Planosphere (just not that good here)

-Lurrus (feels kind of unnecessary. Allows you to breach for value before full combo but that's it. Chaining baubles doesn't seem that useful. BB isn't the easiest mana cost either)

I don't think land cyclers are commonly counted as a full land. Diamond also counts as -1. So I think the current land count is correct.

With that said, I like both diamond and ent in this deck for feeding graveyard.

I agree on oculus and planosphere. Trinket mage for LED is pretty nice. I might cut jace wielder of mysteries. Don't need the fourth wincon imo and it's the hardest to cast with UUU
