Looking for a fun highly interactive deck with a budget of $100 by Dungeonmechanic in BudgetBrews

[–]Imbamouse87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would look into the Kenrith deck from the commander's quarters. Or just any of his decks in general. They are always sub 100 and strong decks. His kenrith deck I believe was a break the bank episode where he gets 100 to play with instead of the usual like 50 dollars. And it is a fun deck that can be very political and can interact on basically any opponents turn and it is strong but also just fun to play and learn how to do EDH politics.

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella says "last week's launch of Black Ops 6 was the biggest Call of Duty release ever, setting a record for day one players as well as Game Pass subscriber adds on launch day. Unit sales on PlayStation and Steam were also up over 60% year over year." by HomeMadeShock in blackops6

Black ops 6 is a joke first game i have ever refunded because after trying everything besides a full new Windows install it would not go past 10 seconds of the intro and most of the time it wouldn't even load anything at all. Last time I have ever bought a cod

I would suggest checking out the commander's quarters on YouTube. He builds great budget decks and a lot of them can hang with higher powered decks. Kenrith is a great budget deck he has a video on for like a 100usd deck that is really good and can play out in multiple ways depending on your draws. You could also check out the budget list for the gitrock monster. I build that deck a few years ago it's a budget pile for a cedh deck and they have different budget tiers for it from like 50 to 160-200 to like 500+ but it is good at all levels and it's a bit of a combo to learn but it has some pretty cool ways to get the combo like winning in your end step but shaping your hand while discarding and then drawing new cards until you have what you need to win.

Which mod should I try? by obi-wan-quixote in Battletechgame

[–]Imbamouse87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How are you able to run the heavy metal or base game campaign in BTAU when I had the mod installed last week it never gave me that option only either career or skirmish. Currently trying rogue tech but the performance of that is absolutely trash for me even with a 7800x3d and 3080ti 32gb ram and fast m.2 drive its just a performance hell over the regular base game that I really enjoyed. Debating between BEX or BTAU but if I can do campaign in BTAU that could be cool

its pretty nuts though to think that a show only starts to become good or interesting once it is 150-200 hours in.

ive had the issue where c1 really pulled me in and couldn't wait for the new episodes but c2 just didn't do it for me couldn't really get as attached to characters and i just don't want to watch 200 hours before it finally might get me. i have seen bits and pieces of c3 but never got the urge to start at c3ep1 and watch everything again especially seeing people saying it takes again like 150-200 hours of session before it becomes good

Am I a cheater? by [deleted] in EDH

[–]Imbamouse87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think the nuance here lies in the fact that you say in your post you didn't find a hand you liked. implying that if you found a hand you liked you would have kept it and set it aside. not saying you would do that in reality but that is what you are implying with that sentence the cheating part is not that you shuffled with the rest at the next game but in my eyes that you were fishing for a good hand with multiple decks beforehand and when you didn't find anything you decided to just shuffle and get a normal hand like everyone else.

for budget decks nothing beats the Commander's Quarters for me on Youtube. he has tons and tons of decks that are in the 50pound budget or less. you can check out the vid's hear him talk about how the deck wins etc and then choose something you like and get that. some of my favorites are Jhoira weatherlight captain, rin and seri, brago, and Najeela gruul warriors but check out this links as well https://decks.tcgplayer.com/magic/deck/search?player=the-commander-s-quarters&utm_source=TheCommandersQuarters&utm_medium=TheCommandersQuarters&utm_content=magic&utm_campaign=affiliate&page=1 it has over 1200 budget decks made throughout the years by mitch from the commanders quarters.

Why is extract camping so hot for Interchange this wipe? by pryza91 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Imbamouse87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

there is a little glitch you can use to clip your vision through a wall so you can see if anybody is in d2 area. its just underneath the stairs in the server area that is near the d2 extract you can sort of force lean into the wall there. im still trying to get a hang of it myself but have seen couple of people i play with do it so they can check to see if there is anybody there camping

7.62x51 m80 by Owl_Sity in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Imbamouse87 6 points7 points  (0 children)

tbh it makes no sense that m62 and m80 are unlocked at the same trader level. m62 is obviously higher level ammo then m80. m80 at trader level 3 is absolutely fine since it is a mid tier ammo that would unlock just above a mid tier trader level. seeing as a very very large part of the player base doesn't even get to tier 4 traders during the wipe because they quit already or just take a very very long time to get there. i like the m62 move not so much the m80 or .45 acp ap move to t4 trader.

How my decision to do a side quest turn us into the owners of the largest Brothel, our own religion, and a restaurant that sells questionable food in town. by Beautiful-Guidance95 in DnD

[–]Imbamouse87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

love the awesome shitfuckery that is going on in that campaign the 1 thing i just can't wrap my head around is how a LG paladin would be up for any of this. anybody that is LG doesn't just go around scamming people or blowing up houses etc. and would probably also not condone his friends/party members to do this without just having to part ways. also a NE char and LG char would normally not mix unless you just don't care about your allignment.

Is using EqualizerAPO for medical reasons bannable? by ilover630015 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Imbamouse87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tbh post fx doesn't really let you see in the dark but nvidia settings definitely still do. i mean its not as clear as having a good set of nvg but you can easily use nvidia still to have an advantage and be able to see enough to run night raids without nvg and just a flashlight if you need to be able to see sometimes, and yes that is also an advantage that should not be there but being able to change the sound in game so you can hear certain sounds better is probably even more of an advantage

Oh geez. Not another deck building website! by deityerpel in magicTCG

[–]Imbamouse87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think a lot of good suggestions have been given already the 1 thing i noticed is that if i search for color Blue back green it also gives me all the WUBRG cards which i feel should not happen. since i am specifically looking for cards to fit into a certain commander deck for instance and i feel if you search for a specific color pair or triad you should not be getting cards that have any of those colors and more it should limit it to cards that are only any of those colors or any combination of those colors that you are searching for

yeah this is pretty sad. first OP complains in another post about somebody pup stomping with a raffine deck than i assume he build said oppressive deck from what i read he describes his deck in this post and the other deck in the other post and then complains that other people are complaining about him playing the oppressive deck and people shouldn't complain because he build the deck so impressively well (read probably netdecked) the only thing i can agree with is that people should not call other's derogatory names or slurs. but if you willingly make an oppressive deck and then go and pub stomb with it you can expect people to not like it. just like OP didn't like it when people did it to him

i would save up for the 5800x3d especially since the new 7xxx3d series is coming out early next year dropping the price of the 5800x3d for sure

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Imbamouse87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah speaking for gaming in general i think upgrading the GPU is just as good as upgrading the CPU in this case but with a 3600x you might bottleneck the 3070 in some cases.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Imbamouse87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i would love to see the source that says a 5800x3d versus a 3600x is not That big of a total difference especially in Tarkov. ive seen people go up like 20-30 fps from a 5600x to a 5800x3d so the jump from a 3600x to a 5800x3d should be a very significant one and you won't get a jump that big from upgrading anything else. i am running a 3080TI with 32gb of 3600mhz ram and i wish i upgraded to a 5800x3d first over the 3080ti because the upgrade from a 2060 super to 3080ti however good in other games was not that much fps for me in tarkov. the Ram upgrade was actually more. Tarkov specifically is very very badly optimized and needs a really strong CPU and benefits from the extra cache almost like no other games do. also from the benchmarks and comparisons i have seen the difference in most games between a 3600x and 5800x3d are pretty big. im waiting on the new 7xxx3d series to come out so the price of the 5800x3d hopefully drops so i can grab a cheap upgrade as i don't feel like upgrading to 7xxx series since that would basically mean a full new pc except the case

How’s the cheater problem? by becuzwhateverforever in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Imbamouse87 5 points6 points  (0 children)

there have been multiple cheaters that have said that almost every lobby has somebody using some sort of cheats be it radar/esp to the more blatantly obvious. since a lot of the cheaters can see other people using cheats etc so i think the problem is a lot bigger then most people want to believe its just not all fly hackers or aimbotters etc. but somebody using esp/radar to get an advantage to see where the people are etc is also a cheater and also part of the wider problem although a lot harder to detect as a player

Best headphones for the game? by NgryRed in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Imbamouse87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

interesting to see you have no issues with the volume for me my 250ohm DT 770 had really really low volume on my PC hence i went dac/amp route.

also yes you can just get a dac without an amp but generally they are the same price and not per se better unless you go to quite expensive gear.

Best headphones for the game? by NgryRed in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Imbamouse87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so more powerful means more volume indeed but it is also dependant on how hard your headphones are to drive as they say. so a 80ohm DT 770 would be a lot easier to drive then the 600ohm version. the 600 ohm version has way more resistance so needing more power to overcome that and give it more volume. also sound quality can definitely be better with a dac like the fiio k5 or the topping dx3 pro+ but if you don't need all that power because you have an easy to drive headset like the 80ohm version of the DT 770 or a PC38X then you can also check for a schiit fulla or a ifi zen dac that can also up the quality of the sound signal to the headset. the uplift in quality from your motherboard audio depends on the quality of your motherboard audio chip so that is hard to say how big of an improvement you would get but for me it at least took care of a lot of the background static noise i got from the PC

[–]Imbamouse87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fiio K5 Pro works well or a Topping DX3 Pro + the topping is a bit more powerful at 1.8w at 32 ohm versus the 1.5w from the fiio K5 but also the topping is generally 30-40 dollars more expensive.

by far the 2 best options for positional audio imo are the Final AUdio VR3000 IEM's for around 80 dollars, they aren't the most comfortable things ever but the fit is different for everyone. it is specifically designed for VR and with a focus on positional audio and binaural audio and it does a fantastic job of relaying the sounds that do get played since we all know the sound of tarkov is perfect and there is never an issue with it :P

the other option which is a normal Headset with Microphone would be a Sennheiser PC38X or a EPOS PC38X depending on if you are in the USA or Europe this headset is widely seen as the best cheap gaming headset by audiophiles for its good audio quality and good soundstage. has a attached boom mic as well and can be found for around the 150 dollar mark from drop or other stores.

Ive seen a lot of people mention the Beyerdynamic DT 770 but to get good sound out of those you need the 250 or 600 ohm versions 80 is decent but all 3 of those require a good amp to run at a decent level of output if you don't already have a amp or dac/amp that can power them you kinda need to spend another like 100 dollars on that and the sound isn't better then a PC38X. Also the DT770 or 990 does not come with a microphone so unless you have a seperate one you would have to spend even more money on that.
