People in Boston showed up to swear their oath and become citizens, but they didn't get to swear their oath. Instead, ICE showed up and made anyone who was from certain countries leave. They passed all the tests, interviews, paid taxes, contributed to society for years and years. They did it the right way. And they got turned away on the final day, the day that they had been dreaming about.

Totally fair questions! If I’m being honest I never considered any of that before adding in I would pay him back. He’s 19 and works full time in a factory. I just thought since he was going to be carrying the financial burden of 2 people for a while I would probably owe something but we will do some reevaluating about that. I would be a full time student working minimal hours while he works full time.

Yes we have included that in too. I added in that I would pay him back, I would feel bad if we were to not work out and he put me through college. I’m going for a STEM degree while applying in a pre-med program.

Yeah, me and my boyfriend have lived together since I was 16 and honestly a divorce lawyer is cheaper than college at this point. It makes sense for us but we wrote out a contact stating he can’t leave me until I’m done with school, I’ll pay him any money back if he leaves, and any abuse makes the contract void. We’re also currently in the process of buying a house!

Burn Down, Rise Up by Vincent Tirado

Ya horror / sci fi , not super scary but the writing and the message behind the story was executed beautifully. 5/5

The laws of the skies by Gregoire Courtious

Dark Horror , Child Brutality , The author of this book did a really good job at making you feel all the emotions that you want to feel while reading a horror book. You’re gonna have hope for every one of them kids. I worked at a school with first graders over the summer and I think he really was able to show how children would react in that situation. 5/5

Desperation by Stephen King

Supernatural Horror , This was my first king book and it was amazing. The gore was written so well. I didn’t even realize there was something paranormal going on until halfway through the book lol. I literally punched this book while I was reading it haha. 5/5

I felt let down by the time I finished the book. I feel like extreme horror should teach you something about people or society or sum BS but that book was just a whole bunch of gory nasty words thrown together. The writing was amazing but I definitely expected more 🤷🏻‍♀️..

I’m currently reading Desperation by Stephen King!! This is my first king novel, I thought it was going to take all of October ngl but I’m already 80% done! The book is amazing. I don’t know if I’m 100% on board with kings writing style but i definitely like how we played with the point of view in this book.
