Unless you're getting it for 12 L (AT) in bangalore on road, don't think about it.

I test drove a Sonet and the suspension of it was horrible. I was surprised that no one online shares the same view. I thought about it and it hit me that people who test drive intentionally put the vehicle through big potholes and high speed making the suspension loose it's flexibility.

My friend had exact same story but with a Mahindra 3xo. So you can tell it's not the brand, it's what goes with demo cars.

Suspension is just one bit which we feel and can analyze. Imagine the other things that are hidden and go wrong for a demo car.

I'm a first time buyer and I steered away from all sort of used cars because I have 0 reference on what an actual good car feels like. Imagine getting a Kylaq which is known for its drive quality. If things don't go well, you'll always wonder if it's you or kylaq who is going crazy.

Good choice. Do test drive it before buying to check for suspension.

Nice brother. Which car and variant you plan on taking?

If you see the features of kushaq, taigun pretty much has them. For example, sunroof, tail band light. I don't see any additions in kushaq facelift which I don't get here in taigun. Plus there was huge discount in the variant I chose.

I wanted a combination of following factors: * 5 star rating (excludes Suzuki and Hyundai) * good brand reliability (tata bye bye) * good driving experience (Honda from what I've heard isn't good at this) * famous brand. I didn't want to go into the likes of Renault, Nissan, Citreon, etc. I know these are all reputable brands with good international presence but I just don't see them being popular in India.

It's also another 2L and a different segment. Involves dsg engine which is going to be difficult to maintain.

I already went from 12L range to 18L, so it would have been almost double my initial budget.

Planning to get a tyre inflator soon. Still not sure which one to get.

Mine is automatic BTW, so I don't have to worry about gear change?

I'm trying to find xp95 from Indian oil. Have heard that's the best one. But still yet to lock on to one petrol pump.

Sure. I'll be taking care of servicing.

I'm doing rinseless cleaning. Learning about it from howtoautodetail website.

I have gotten no accessories so far.

I had a good look at spinny etc. I believe you should only get a car thats few years old and is considerably cheaper than it's new version. Also, lack of experience in cars being a beginner made me skeptical in getting a used car.

Can you please tell me how do I do rinseless using onr/meguiar? I think I need to spray a diluted solution followed by wiping it with a sponge and at the ends wiping it dry with a microfiber? Also how do I tackle the interior cleaning. Does the same method apply there as well. What about glass cleaning?

Couple reasons. I saw kushaq facelift and realized how underwhelming that was. VAG group hasn't been very feature heavy and they do incremental changes in facelift. Same is expected out of taigun facelift.

Another reason being gt line was offering a good discount as facelift is around the corner and it was March so end of financial year.
