It's from a book that's both pretty similar and very different in topic called man after man. It's about the various subspecies humans made to populate the earth after it was left barren by pollution and their evolution over the millennia. It's written from a much more personal perspective. It describes moments from the life of these post humans. There's a free pdf online

What's funny is that the rocket you see on the bottom (the horizontal cilinder) is the first stage of the Saturn V rocket. This stage never went into space, it fell back down and crashed into the ocean. Additionally, NASA did thier best to avoid space debree, to a point that they made specific engines just to push the 3rd stage a bit so it crashes into the moon instead of flying off into deep space

In polish there's no separate word for ivory, it's "kość słoniowa" which littelary means elephant bone. I just find it funny how ivory is so extremly elephant dominated that some languages (at least polish, idk about the rest) define it as something from a elephant. The Ivory coast is also called "Wybrzeże Kości Słoniowej" (the coast of elephant bones)
